Katie, isn't it nice to "find" clothes you can wear now?

I have on a dress that is black and the front is covered with shoe and purse print. I get lots of comments on it. I have an orchid colored long-sleeved shirt to wear over it as a jacket. I am enduring pantyhose, too. And my black flats.

I discovered a couple of bras tucked in a drawer, and tried them on and they fit! The one I have on now is a 40D underwire. The ones I've been wearing are 42DD, and I'm hooking them in the first hooks instead of the last. The cups are even a little loose.

I even found an old one that is a 46DD. Can't wear that one anymore! So, the girls are shrinking.

Today is usual knit pants, dark green, and a short-sleeved pink knit top, with ribbed knitting on front, different widths of ribbing. V-neck, quite comfortable. Flats. Actually, no makeup, because it will all rub off when I get my back done, cuz I'll be face down on the table, with my face on white paper.

Today I'm going to ds school to bring string cheese and balloons for his 7th birthday. He asked for string cheese over cupcakes! Yea! Love my little health nut. I'm going to put on make-up and do my hair but plan on wearing jeans and a nice shirt though not sure which one yet. Have a good looking day everyone!

Today I'm wearing black pinstripe pants, just polyester knit, and long sleeve mock turtleneck in light pink, and a long gray knit vest. Flats again.

Wearing a gray sweater that is so soft and a new pair of size 8 Goodwill jeans I bought last night. I bought 2 more pairs of jeans in 8 and a 7/8 (will wear hopefully soon) all for $10. Felt like a million bucks!

There is a huge PLUS to doing this! I've had people from church drop by twice in the past two weeks, and both times my hair was brushed, I had make-up on, and even though I was wearing jeans, I was clean and neat and felt pretty good about myself. I used to not even answer the door because I'd still be wearing pajamas or old cruddy sweats.

Heather, you are one great shopper. I love Goodwill, even though I can afford to shop retail. I seldom buy anything that isn't on clearance. I'd rather spend my hard-earned bucks elsewhere. Our nearest Goodwill is 50 miles away, but there's a big one in San Antonio, but that's 140 miles away. Oh well.

Katie, isn't it nice to open your door and not feel like you need to cover up or apologize?

Today I am going quite casual. My legs have been hurting a lot around my knees, and I feel better when the knees stay fairly warm, so I am wearing a pair of burgundy sweats and a yellow long sleeved knit top. I have to go out to some of the tenants homes, and I want to be sure to be warm. Since my sweats are burgundy, I'm wearing garnet jewelry to match.

Oh Nita I'm sure that in't true!! Have you see that Dove commercial that talks about every girl is beautiful. I thought that was such a sweet ad. Beauty is more in how you feel not so much on how you look. I've seen some physically beautiful women that are UGLY!!

I would have to agree with you about the sleep!!! I love to sleep. That is my favorite past time!!

Me too and on the flip side I remember my dh saying (Shallow Hal ) that his new SIL wasn't as pretty as his brothers ex-wife but when we got to know HER she couldn't be more pretty! In fact, I'm not sure if I know anyone prettier! Her sweetness really does make her shine.
