Day 18:

I went to a dinner meeting last night and since I always keep away from alcoholic beverages, I usually indulge in pop at those event. However, last night I was able to stick to my water while everyone else on my table were indulging in somekind of alcoholic beverage or atleast a pop. Thanks to this challenge, I did not even feel the desire to get that canned stuff :great:

Ok guys...I've decided that I'm not going to give up my pop. I have it maybe once a week but it comes through for me when I'm at someone's house and good food is around or the family has a treat I will choose this instead. Thanks for having me!! Don't worry I won't have it everyday or never in place of water or tea. Just a treat instead of sugar/high carb foods.

I'm still sticking to the water. No sodas for weeks now. We don't even buy them. When we stop when traveling, I get a bottle of water, instead.

Don't need no stinking artificial flavor, artificial color, sodium benzoate, or whatever else they put in it.....but it sure tastes good sometimes! Still, staying away from it, at least for the next 50 lbs.

I am still abiding by it. This was a great challenge and really helped me in quiting the soda. I am soda free since about a month now :great:
