I did make it thru yesterday without any sugar, and today I am doing great.

Calico, it definately sounds like you need to get that new beginning feeling back again. Remember that when you were excited to start this new way of eating? Maybe you could buy a new lc cook book or browse other lc books at the store? Can you go back to what inspired you the first time? Maybe just dumping out your cupboards of all the foods that will be to tempting to keep around and then go shopping for lc foods that can keep you on track. It's hard sweetie we know but we're here for you to help.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am gonna try to stick to the LC plan today, and
hopefully after getting past this first day (again!) my resolve will be strengthened.


BBJ, one of the things that really helped me when I first started LC back in
November was that my co-workers were all also doing it. Pretty much all of
them also "fell off the wagon" back in November, but I kept up with it really
well till February. I had some backslides but was able to regroup and
maintain through April, but since then I've just done horribly. Weighed this
morning and am up another .5 lb, for a total regain of 3.5 of the 25 I had lost.
I have GOT to get control again. I still have such a long way to go to be where
I want, so I definitely don't want to make it harder by regaining anymore of
what I had lost.

I have also gotten lazy about planning meals, which I know is so important,
esp. as I am bad to just grab whatever is available when I don't have anything
planned and am tired or rushed. Need to do better here, too.

I hope to post a loss this time next week (heck, even .5 loss would be a start!),
so good vibes that I can stay strong will be appreciated!

You are on the right start already Calico. If I could go back to each diet I gave up on and gained the weight back or better to when I was thin and not let those pounds creep back on! You just needed to regroup so you can remember how great you feel taking care of yourself.

Okay.....I don't want to discuss what I got into all last week and the weekend.......it wasn't good let me hint to you... But this is a new week and a new day so here we go again...

Day 1

B: 2 eggs and 2 pcs bacon
L: 1 hamburger patty with mustard, 1 c cauliflower, 1 c celery, I laughing cow cheese.
D: 1 hamburger patty with mustard, 1/2 c squash

Total Net Carbs: 21

Yoga 40 min

Carolyn, I'm still taking it one day at a time, so just for today, I'm going to eat on plan, and I'm going to try to control my portions, even of the low or non carb items. And, I'm going to try to eat salad twice today.

Thats the way to do it nita, salads twice a day
breakfast was 2 hard boiled eggs, and mayo
coffee, tea, and cream
lunch = taco salad with lean grn beef, a little guacamole,sour cream, tomatoes,
lettuce, salsa.
desert is strawberries and a little whipping cream

dinner is out at a mexican restaurant, so will probably have salad, or chicken breast with sauce over it and a salad on the side.

Feeling abit sick still from all the carb withdrawls,and a pounding headache but I am sure it will pass soon...I hope.
