Nita, Texma - I also feel bloated in high humidity. You may be right about the bp also. will have to recheck it the next non-humid day. which will probably be in 2 months. You're both doing so well!

I walked 3 1/4 miles at the mall yesterday. very brisk pace!

Texma, keep it up! 2 miles on a treadmill has gotta be hard work.

Rob, you are our inspiration, and you keep us going.

I slept a tad late this morning, so only had time for 30 minutes on the Gazelle. Still within my acceptable range, though.

Did my weight workout, and 35 minutes on the Gazelle. Gonna have to take some ibuprofen - a little bit of rain, and guess where it's settled?

I started watching "Fahrenheit 451", and excellent, cerebral movie. We recorded it the Memorial Day weekend of 2001! Apparently we set the timer for it, because there is about 2 minutes of the end of "The Attack of the 50 Foot Woman" on it! What a hokey, stupid movie! Well, I kinda like that kind of movie......

Toward the end of "The Giant Claw", the bird the size of a battleship is on top of some skyscrapers, and everyone had been told to stay inside, but where were they? In the park, running down the street, getting eaten, or the tops of buildings crushing them. Had they been INSIDE THE BUILDING they woulda survived. Holy cow, don't people in movies have any common sense? If I knew there was a bird the size of a battleship flying around knocking airplanes out of the sky, and eating people and horses and cows, I'd be cowering in the closet! Oh well, the movies make the exercise time really fly!

    @ Nita

Attack of the 50 foot woman scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. Fahrenheit 451 is one of my all time fave sci fi movies!!

You two are putting me to shame, what inspirations you are! I only walked 1 mile on the dreadmill today, couldn't muster up any more strength than that but hope to do more tomorrow.

Excellent Nita! you inspire me also!

Texma - You're doing just fine! Gradually increasing your workouts will avoid injuries.

    Beth - Hey housework counts!

Lessee I forgot to post yesterday. So Thursday I walked 4 miles at Tanglewood. Yesterday i walk 2 miles (maybe less?) but then shopped at walmart so I'm thinking 2 1/2 miles or more.

No workout this morning - going to help DS & family finish moving and probably do a little shopping at Wally World.
