I've never done a chat room or forum and don't know what I'm doing but this is day 4 and I have gobs of questions and trying to find the answers. The folks on this site are so supportive and just wonderful! My Atkins book was 30 yrs. old so I bought the new one yesterday. Things are somewhat different now so it's like starting from scratch. Is this where I ask questions or should I just keep on reading and researching? Oh, and I weighed myself this morning and I was down 4 lbs. and even though I've read it's water weight, it's a good motivator as you all are! Thanks!

Cinderella, if you haven't already done so, go to the Newbies section and start a new thread and introduce yourself. You are so right about getting great support here. No one judges, and everyone cheers you on when you have success. It's a great bunch of people.

You can also start your own journal, look in the Journal section, again, start a new thread with whatever title you want to put on it, and just start letting us know about you. You'll be sure to get visitors.

Welcome, and I hope you have a successful low carb journey.

Thank you so much QueenMama for the help. I've asked some questions in a couple different forums, not knowing what I'm doing but hoping for some advice. Again, thank you so much for your support!

Welcome Cinderella! You've found a great place here at LCE. Make yourself at home!

Day 99!! No losses this week, yet. Had a couple bites of sweet potato at Easter dinner, y'know the candied type. One more day!

Day 98, no cheats. Still holding my own as far as weight goes, no downward spiral, just maintaining a totally unacceptable weight.

Gregg, one more day to go! Are you going to try another challenge? If you start one, I'll join you.

I don't know Nita. My next personal goal is to get to my goal weight at about 170. Exactly how I'll do it besides just keepin on, I don't know. Maybe a "Count down to goal weight" challenge?

Sounds like a good challenge, Gregg, but I'm afraid my countdown will be a long, long time, slow as I'm going. Might reach my goal weight when I'm too old to care anymore!

Day 99, one day left. I'm still not cheating.
