Hopped on the Gazelle right after work last night, did all of 12 minutes, then my legs hurt all evening! Just shows that I need to get back in the full swing of this exercise thing. Slept too late again this morning to do anything, but will probably try to get back to it after work. That might have to be my new plan.

Baby steps are just fine. getting back into exercise gradually is a smart move. And i will count housework as my exercise. any activity counts in this challenge!

Did 2 boring mall walking miles today.

Oh, my! I haven't been exercising like I should...what a shock! LOL! I've gotta break through this mental block....not sure how to do that. I want to get up and do about 20-30 minutes each morning....maybe a single circuit on the Parabody, then about 15-20 minutes on the Gazelle.

I KNOW this would boost my metabolism for the rest of the day....as well as wake me up and help with toning.

So, why don't I do it? That's the question. The answer is: I am lazy.

I'm going to do this: make a stab at doing this in the morning. I'll report back as to whether I am able to talk myself into it or not.

Val - Swim aerobics sounds like fun! and good exercise to boot.

Maxi - you just have to do it and let it become a habit. I'm addicted to walking and absolutely hate rainy or too cold days that keep me form outdoor walks with my dogs.

I did manage to force myself out to tanglewood for a 35 minute walk with the dogs. Man was it cold, though. I almost turned back a few times when the wind kicked up to about 25 mph. temperature was low 40s but wind chill was below freezing. much like today is supposed to be. Too bad because i have an appointment right by Tanglewood park this afternoon but I can't face another freezing cold walk.

I didn't exercise Tuesday morning or this morning! We overslept Tuesday, and this morning, I spent too much time making green tea and doing laundry. So, my next attempt is tomorrow morning. I'll report back!

Did tons and tons of shopping yesterday, getting ready for our adoption shower. Then baked, did dishes, baked, cut up veggies, cheese, made dips, set up the tables, etc. Today finished setting up, being hostess, visiting all our wonderful friends who were able to come, then cleaning up. My legs and feet are killing me!
