I actually got on the Gazelle Friday morning and spent about 15 intense minutes on it. I was almost winded and strangely exhilirated. AND I felt better, more awake and more aware. I think 99% of the effect was psychological, but that's okay....it makes me want to do it again. Then, I want to go back to working out on the Parabody while I watch TV. Baby steps...

Did another 3 mile tanglewood walk yesterday and hopefully will do the same today. gonna be about 70 degrees by afternoon. Can't waste that! especially when rain is predicted during the upcoming week! did 40 minutes on the treadmill at the gym and 21 minutes on the exercise bicycle. also my usual 7 weight machine workout. Trying to offset the huge amunt of walnuts i ate yesterday.

edit: aslo walked 4 1/2 miles with the dogs. I think I deserve today off!

I guess this cold snap has us all cocooning rather than working out. That has to change for me. Will try and mall walk. Just too cold for outdoor walks. especially with the dogs. Sandy will swim in the river in any kind of weather and then freeze when she comes out. She's a combination of husky Akita and both breeds are cold weather dogs. But still I don't need any more vet bills.
