I'm not sure if I can yesterday was good or not. I nibbled a lot, had gallons of coffee (it seemed like it, anyway, but it was decaf), made some of Donna's artisan flat bread and probably had too much of it, but still think my carb count was ok. Should have had more veggies, and less of the bread, but yesterday is past.

So far today, a lc shake for breakfast, the last of the bread with some leftover pork and spaghetti squash for lunch. Not sure about supper.

Friday was pretty good. Could have had more veggies. Gotta work on that. Now let's see what Saturday brings.

Today is day one for me, I have most of my day food planned out, (see my journal) and plan to stay on it, and ignore those foods that might just crawl into my vision, and call to my attention

send me all the good vibes you can to help me stay the course....lol
and I will do the same for you.

Have a great day ya'll

Nita - brace yourself we are going to have more bad weather this week....

Yeah, Carolyn, looks like some rain, but we sure need all we can get now. Just hope we get a break so we can till up a garden.

I'm going to start this week now; yesterday was just too high in carbs for me to be comfortable counting it as a good day. That swig of wine that I thought was real wine but turned out to be a "wine product" with dextrose and fructose added, and 25 carbs a glass, well, needless to say, I didn't finish the glass. One taste and I knew it was sugared!

So, today is day one this week. I've had my coffee, and a strawberry lc shake, 1 carb per serving.

I also found out that the glucosamine chondroitin supplement I've been using has carbs, 1 - 2 per serving. Yikes! I'm going to try doing without for a while and see what happens. I used to take 3 pills a day. Now I have to go looking for another source, see what I can find, or do without.

not quite, but no sugar which is a hard one for me, did have a few pretzel chunks and corn chips, so will not count it as day one, but today will be for sure

breakfast - hadn't had anything yet, might wait for lunch
lunch will be a nice chef salad
dinner not sure - meat loaf or going out...

I'll claim a day #2 for yesterday but calories were way higher than I was aiming for.

I've lost count of my days, so today I am starting over, Sundays are my weighing and measuring days, so it will also be day #1 for each week.

So far today has been good. I am not concerning myself with calories, only carbs. It's what worked for me in the past, and I'm too addled and disorganized to have to keep track of too many things at once!

Sunday was just fine. Ate well, carbs low. Should have had more water, but what's done is done. Today should be just as good.

Monday & Tuesday were very good. I weighed this morning, and the scales tell me I'm down 2.5 lbs since Sunday. So I'm almost back to square one.

Wednesday was also a very good day. I haven't planned out today yet. So far I've had a bowl of hot cereal with a dash of 0 carb Walden Farms chocolate syrup. Now I'm ready to face the day.

Well, Thursday was ok, but last night I felt queasy, ate a bowl of hot cereal for supper, then had an OMM for a snack. Didn't feel like meat or veggies. This morning - well, so far no breakfast, just not up to it, but I'll probably take a shake to work, just in case I get hungry.
