| Day 2 went pretty well. Started out day 3 with a bowl of pumpkin spice cereal. I put a big tablespoon of canned pumpkin in my bowl, nuked it for about 30 seconds to get the chill out (it was in the fridge), added the spice cereal (lots of cinnamon, a little nutmeg, cloves & ginger), sweetened with stevia. Very good. Extremely filling - I could not finish the bowl!

| I am going to get me some of that pumpkin and try it. Yummy!! It's very low in calorie and would count as a veggie right? If the kids love it this mommy would be so happy! |

| Starting out day 4 with my usual cereal. Last night I made burgers and asparagus, cooked on my grill pan. They were divine!

| Day 5 dawning bright & pretty. Yesterday was very good. Today I'm starting with hot cereal, although I might have to rethink this. I got my Protein Power books, and they have some compelling arguments for me not eating flaxseed meal. I need to do some more reading on this, but I might have to forego the cereal for a time to see if it helps. And I just mixed up a bunch of it. I have 3 qt bags in the freezer, as well as 3 canisters of different flavors in the fridge. Oh, well.

| Day 6. Started out with cereal, but added a pat of cream cheese and a couple of tablespoons of blueberries to the bowl. It was really good. I'm trying to add more protein, and space out my carbs throughout the day. I don't usually have many carbs with breakfast, but perhaps I need to have more then, and fewer the rest of the day, to keep my blood sugar at a more even keel. And I read a more recent Protein Power book that says that flaxseed is probably ok in most cases. So I'm going to continue with my daily cereal routine.

| Day 5 starting out ok, but not great. I have no appetite this morning, did not have breakfast, it's after 11 and I'm still not hungry. I might have to force myself to eat lunch. So, I'm not really off plan, but not really on, either, until I actually eat.
