Great job Nita!

After my eating feast I had on Sunday I would be very thankful if I maintained. So my goal to Saturday weigh in will be to stay on track to get back to new low.

Getting back on track today. I didn't make bad choices during our cleaning spree, just ate more food than I usually do, but, hey, we were working hard!

Back to vlc & lower fat today. No weighing for a week, though, maybe, perhaps. I ate way too much yesterday, all low carb, but I'm sure it all added up to way too many carbs for me for one day. Sigh. But, it wasn't a carb fest, it was just too much food, that's all.

Great job Lisa!

Nita - I do that too, eat more then I would have liked and then don't weigh for awhile. There is no need for me to confirm what I know and just make me feel worse where I may just eat again. Glad to hear that you made low carb choices so if there is any damage it won't be much. You are doing great and now you are back to your routine to lose some more.

I had a nice low carb day yesterday, but still avoiding the scales for a few days.

We finally finished off that salty brisket, so I won't have that temptation and subsequent water retention - at least, until I buy another brisket! I found a really good cooked sirloin roast at WalMart, in a nice broth, 0 carbs. It was well seasoned, moist and tender, very, very good. Wish I could remember the brand. If I see it again, I'm going to buy more.

I couldn't stand it, I had to get back on the scales, and I'm down another pound from my last lowest point. Whoopee!! That's 9 1/2 lbs down since early June. That's the best weight loss I've had in several years. VLC is doing it for me.

Lisa, I'd count every single ounce. It's showing progress, not matter how small. You're doing so well! BTW, in 13.5 lbs I'll hit the 100 lb mark. I'm going to have a big, low carb party with DH to celebrate, too! I think I'll make him take me out for a nice steak & salad. And I might even splurge on a glass of wine or champagne. After, the first 100 lbs is a cause for celebration, and the 2nd 100 lbs is going to be downhill all the way!

I've lost 3 pounds since Saturday's weigh in! Only 8 ounces to go to be in my 123 - 133 pound goal range. Can't wait. I'll start adding in carbs and calories once I get my foot in the goal range door to slow down the weight loss until I figure out what I need to maintain. I'm tickled pink today.
-
Lisa - count those ounces! You worked for those and deserve each ounce gone.
-
Nita - I'm so happy for you!!! This is so wonderful that you are down another pound. It has to be from all that hard work you and your dil did on your house. You needed the extra carbs just to keep your energy up. 13.5 pounds is just around the corner for you Nita with the way the scale is moving for you. Can't wait to hear the good news!

Heather, you're doing it! Just a measly 8 ounces to go. Not bad at all. I'm tickled pink for you, too.

Lisa, those ounces really add up!

The scale didn't budge this morning, but I'm still optimistic because I know I was retaining water, so I'm assuming I lost, but it didn't show because of the water weight. How's that for reasoning?

Still sticking close to plan, trying to keep the fat low, the carbs low. Need to drink more water, too. Tonight I'm making steak & mushrooms, have some portobellos I need to cook, and maybe some fresh spinach. Right now I'm so hungry, I could eat 2 steaks!
