Thanks for the advice. Now that I think about it, I'm sure I'm craving carbs so bad because I drink Diet Coke. I know you're not supposed to drink it on Atkins, but it's never stopped me from losing weight. It's the only thing I really look forward to. I guess it's causing me to crave sweets. I'm going to try to cut back and hopefully quit. thanks!

Thanks for the recipe. I will try it. I love learning all the different ways to cook and bake the low carb way.

Was one lb. down today. I'll wait to claim it, though. Eating good so far. Deviled Eggs and 3 sausage links for breakie, roast beef slices and monterey jack for lunch, not sure about dinner yet.

Moggie - you may need to drink more, eat more protein at dinner, get some sf jello or pork rinds for nibbles. Hard to say without knowing your menu, but hang in there. You are doing fabulous.

Hang in there Mab. Drink lots of water and you'll have those donuts out of your system in no time.

Ladies, I'm going to start adding in some more veggie carbs. So I won't be at induction level anymore, but I'll still be coming here regularly to give a boost to anyone needing it.

I made a big pitcher of iced tea, and I'm drinking on it. We finished off the bottled water, and I just can't stomach the tap water here at work, so I've resorted to tea, which isn't recommended instead of water, but for today it's just going to have to do.

Keep plugging along!

I thought I posted here yesterday, but we're having problems with staying online here at school, so anyhoo, doing well eating clean, staying in the pink, and drinking water. Still kept the pound off yesterday, didn't weigh today, so far so good. Induction seems to help me keep from snacking during the day, but I still sometimes want to snack at night. Mini-goal to be at 145 by the end of May. Stay well everyone.:jump:

Looks like everyone is busy having a nice long weekend. I haven't eaten as clean as I should, but back on the wagon and trying to get back to ketosis. No losses, up alittle, probably water, but same yo-yo life as usual. I'll keep plugging through the end of May, then will reevaluate next step. Gotta be something I can do to shed a few more pounds. Enjoy your Monday and drink your water everybody.

Heather, it sure is good to see you back!

I'm just checking in - I've increased my carbs some, but I'm still here to cheer you all on.

Heather - you must have your refrigerator stocked with lots of goods. I can't wait to get to grocery shopping tomorrow. My options have been getting boring - need variety!

Lisa - I've been pretty close to double your size before sweetie so I know you can do it. You are off to a great start!

OK, wishy-washy Nita, back here.

I'm trying a nearly zero carb experiment, cutting out almost all fat, eating adequate protein. I'm hoping this gives me a really good start to losing again. So far, the hunger is at bay, although right before bed I'm hungry, but make a whey protein shake to sip on. I actually sleep better with a bit of protein in me.

I'll keep you posted as to the effectiveness of this experiment. I sure would like to get 50 lbs off this year.
