I'm doing okay on water, not on exercise.
got a few lbs, and do just fine on not eating before bed.

but I will be a weekly reporter - still trying to talk myself into some kind of exercise.
just NOT motivated in that area and can't seem to get there.

    Hello all!

Lisa - yes... report points on Thursdays. Yeah, I know, it's a weird, random day, but what the hey...

No trip to the Y for me today and I'm missing it. DS's (yep, both) are sick, and I kept the oldest home from school today. Crossing fingers I can get back tomorrow, but I do have all of my exercise minutes in for the week. Water is half way there, but I'm sure I'll make it because I have my knitting class tonight and I drink at least 4 cups during that.

MaryKay - wish I could bottle the motivation I'm having right now and mail it to you (and store some for me when I don't have it LOL!). I have no idea what is motivating me, but I'm glad I am and am sending the motivation fairy your way. ~*~*~*~ ~*~*~*~

I just talked myself out of a binge! I'm so happy with myself. I was feeling starved so I decided that I would eat 8 oz yogurt and then go walk my ds home from school. Woo hoo! I'm so excited that I made the good choice because moments before that I had been staring at the Halloween bag of candy and about to dig in to the chocolate - yikes! I said to myself, God Help me and I feel blessed over this victory. I feel better, came home for my skim milk treat in my coffee and will have dinner in an hour. Tonight it's Biggest Loser for motivation and weight training. I'm logging in victory for the evening. I feel blessed!

Another day, another set of points accumulated! I didn't make it to the gym again, though. Kids are still sick, and youngest has conjunctivitis, so didn't want to spread that around the Y. Luckily I have all of my exercise minutes in for the week, but I am missing the gym! (Good grief! When did I become a gymaholic?!)

See you all in the morning for our first week of stats reporting! Break down your points into:
    Exercise =
    Water =
    Not eating =
    Pounds lost =
and I'll post the stats that way. I think if we can see where we are deficient, we can focus on boosting that area.

    Holey Moley Heather! 9 pounds?!?

Lisa, if you keep focusing on what you're supposed to do for the challenge, the pounds will come off, I'm sure.

Rob - sorry you were sick! Hope you're feeling much better now. Heck, you still lost a pound!

I got on the scale this morning expecting not to see a loss because I've only been able to get to the gym on Monday this week, BUT... I'm down 3.2 pounds! I'm positive the water and not eating before bed helped me see a loss since I haven't been exercising like usual.

So, my points for the week:
    Exercise: 35 points
    Water: 35 points
Not eating: 35 points (almost caved on Wed night, but talked myself down from the ledge...)
    Pounds Lost: 3.2 = 32 points

The other thing I noticed we should change is how we tally our exercise points, since you need to accumulate minutes rather than days. I'm thinking:
    150 minutes or more = 35 points
    100 - 149 minutes = 20 points
    60 - 99 minutes = 10 points
    30 - 59 minutes = 5 points
    0 - 29 minutes = 0 points
If you're point totals for last week need to be changed, I'll try to catch that when I post the stats in my next post. Otherwise, let me know if I goofed.

    Great first week everyone!

Mada - does that mean that i did 196 minutes of exercise i get 35 points instead of 15? if so the my total points are 80.
