| Day 40. Yesterday was a good eating day. I kept my total carbs at 22, net at 16, calories over 1800, protein was 143. Let's see if keeping track will help.

| Been an iffy week! Today WILL be 36! Thankfully yesterday was a good one. Tomorrow I'll be joining the gym so hope to get some motivation there. It's been cold and I've been stuck in the house a lot. Taking St. John's Warts now and just need some mama time during the day while the kids are at school. |

| Day 42. 42! AH! The Ultimate Answer to The Great Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything! I'm down a pound. Again, whoop-dee-do. It's likely to be back again tomorrow. However, I'll try to be more optimistic in future.

| day 33 for me today, was sick for the last two days.... left work early on wednesday and stayed home yesterday... feeling a bit better... but still a little chesty... yeah nita, great to hear about that 1 lb loss, every lb gone, is good... keep drinking that water.... carolyn

| Today I WILL finish up day 37 because I've been re-motivated with my new gym membership. I wish that nap time would come fast enough so I can get my first day in. I just signed up a few hours ago and there is no time to lose. Plan on doing this elliptical/step type machine. The lady showed me how it worked and her long legs stretched pretty far. I'm only 5'3" to her 5'9"? I should feel it tomorrow. Plan on doing lower body weight training as well with the machines. Tonight I'll do a slow walk here on the treadmill getting caught up with my bible studies. Hmm...going to post some of this in the February exercise thread now. |

| Day 43. I had a much higher calorie count yesterday, but a very low carb count. I'm keeping my fat & protein high, too. I made a coconut flour bread, it's posted in the LC Cooking forum. It's going to be a new staple in our house. Tons of fiber, hardly any carbs.

| Onto day 38 and I'm thankfully not hungry. I will make sure I still eat a healthy dinner so that I keep my metabolism up. I love days when I don't feel like eating. They happen maybe once every 6 months so I saver them. |

| Day 44. Just another week and I'm halfway through! On the down side, I'm up 2 lbs. BooHooHoo! On the up side, when I dressed this morning, I thought I looked somewhat slimmer. Perhaps it was the outfit I had on......

| Nita - I just don't understand!! You are tracking your food so you know that you aren't over or under eating. Do you think that you have thyroid problems? I just don't get it friend because you are working so hard. Day 39 and feeling great! |

| Nita, I'm sure you told me previously that your thyroid has been tested and found fine. Can you talk to your doctor about what else this could be about? Maybe bring in some days with calories/carb totals, times you ate.... I just feel awful that you are stuck. It just doesn't seem fair because you work so hard. |

| Day 45 and up another 2 lbs. But, we had snacks for supper last night, pepperoni, hard salami, cheese, so it was a bit salty. Heather, I've never had my thyroid checked. I've never had trouble losing before, just trouble staying with the program. So, unless a thyroid can suddenly stop functioning, I'd be surprised if that's what it is. It's most likely just water weight. Remember, my cells suck it up like a sponge. Besides, I'm not going to worry about what the scale says, as long as my clothes fit.
