Just to say hello and to confess that I haven't been able to do the low carb all day, I begin right and at school where I work I had sweets Iwas not supposed to have and I have noticed that if I have the first bite ,I continue . So I am doing a promise in front of everyone reading this ,that from tomorow morning on , this behavior is dead and buried!! It is a shame at my age to let food rule my life!! No more!! Carmen

*sigh* I need to start day 71 again. I just joined Susie's challenge on no food after 7pm which is when I'm having the worst problems.

Carmen, it's really difficult the first few times you avoid the sweets, but as time goes by, it really does get easier. Make sure you have eaten enough protein at breakfast so you aren't hungry, and that you are well hydrated. Those 2 little steps will go a long way to keep the sugar monster from derailing your plan.

Heather, sometimes a bit of protein at night is a good thing. I find that I sleep better a lot of times when I've had a protein snack. Now, snack is the key word here, not a meal, just a bit. Like a piece of cheese, or a boiled egg. So I don't ever say I won't eat after 7 p.m., but I don't make it a habit anymore, either. Now, a nice cup of decaf tea is welcome any night!

I am at day 88, week days are much better than weekends, I tend to have more control, but I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's because I'm not around food at work, but at home, the fridge and pantry are right there. And I'm always tempted to bake something at home. And then eat it!

When you have people that understand what you are going through it really helps!I did better today , not good ,but better . I have to try not to go overboard when I get home from work and have to really increase my water intake. Carmen

Day 90, still on plan, still not losing at all.

Didn't post last night. Today is our 39th anniversary, and dh gave me my gift last night, a Wii! We set it up and played with it until after 10:30 last night. So, looks like we'll be getting some exercise in from now on!

Those are so fun! What a great Anniversary present. My DH bought me my Wii for my birthday last year then rock band for it for Christmas. This spring or summer they are going to have exercise games. That machine is great exercise! I heard that doctors were recommending it for certain physical therapy exercises.

Beginning of day 91, and I'm still here, cheat-free!

Heather, I can see the exercise from the Wii. I might just get up early in the morning to play games! We've made our entire family of Miis, and then started making more, as funky as we can make them!

Carmen, glad you're joining us!

Day 92. I didn't eat anything I shouldn't have, but perhaps more of the veggies & stuff than I usually would. Probably too many strawberries! But it was a special occasion, didn't have any carby foods (the only thing carby brought today was a box of crackers!) All in all, it's ok, I'm still on plan.
