Yesterday was day 13, had half an OMM with a lot of strawberries on top, too many berries, but I'm not fretting about it.

So far today, a big OMM for breakfast, lunch was brisket, leftover bacon, half a roma tomato & half an avocado, and a lc tortilla. No supper plans. No Gazelle, maybe later. I did shome shopping yesterday, Home Depot, Big Lots & WalMart, got in lots of walking.

You're doing good, Heather! Just a week left!

Last night dh grilled burgers for supper, and I steamed veggies. We compared some Angus burgers we got from the Schwan truck, and some frozen patties I got from WalMart. Both were good, in different ways. The Schwan's were leaner, with more beefy flavor, but the WalMart burgers were fatter, having an equally good flavor, just not quite as beefy as the other. All in all, it was a great experiment!

Had a double protein shake for breakfast.

Day 17 dawning - and I skipped breakfast. Just did not feel like eating.

Yesterday was an ok day. Had a shake for bkfst, pork w/cukes & maters for lunch, 2 hamburger patties for supper (wasn't terribly hungry), then a big OMM w/cream cheese for a snack. Not exactly a stellar eating day, to be sure. Needed more veggies, but last night I just did not want much.

I am going to have to make myself divvy out my daily supplements so I'll remember to take them with lunch. I have to make up my packets for our trip, anyway, so perhaps tonight I'll get that done.

Heather, dh is taking his laptop along on our trip, so I'll probably be able to post a bit each day. I am hoping to keep as close to plan as possible for the entire trip. The only time I might have to stray is when we are visiting people; no telling what kind of food will be available then. We leave 5/9, come home 5/17. Between now and then I'm trying to be extremely careful about what I eat. I'm not losing, at all, but I sure do not want to gain any, either.

Be glad you've lost your weight at a young age, Heather. I wish I'd stuck with low carb when I was younger; the weight just fell off. Now that I'm considerably above 50, the fat has become such an integral part of me that it is extraordinarily stubborn and does not want to leave!

    Glad to be of help!

Day 19. Last night I made the best chicken salad, with red bell pepper, jicama and walnuts. We rolled it up in lc tortillas. I ate 2, shoulda only had 1, but they were that good.

I've slacked off on Fitday. My resolve will be to get back to it after vacation. Right now it's just too much to mess with.

Oh, Wednesday night I did 1.2 miles on the Gazelle in just over 20 minutes, so my time is faster, and my mileage increased a tad.

Heather, did you get to day 100 yet, or were you sidetracked by illness (I looked in your journal)?

I may have to step away from this challenge until after we get home from Ohio, and start it fresh.

We strayed Saturday night. I could not cook, dh doesn't cook, so he ordered fried catfish from the local restaurant. It's cornmeal coated, so good, really meaty pieces, not a thick coating, so I do not feel guilty (we steamed veggies to go with it), but it certainly wasn't on plan.

Anyway, I'm going to stick as close as I can to plan, but I'm sure we'll have to bend or break it at one point or another during the trip.

Hope you have a safe trip to Ohio. No problem stepping away. I'll keep the door opened for you.

    Hooray, Heather!

Now that I'm back home, I'm starting back at day one, effective Monday, so this is day 3. This will take me through August 26. This will definitely be a challenge, as I have a few events in that time frame, but I am determined to stick to my plan, regardless.

I am also going to try to get back to my exercising on the Gazelle, at least 3 times a week, and doing some weight work on 3 days, with one day off. This will be the hardest challenge. And it's not going to be part of the 100 day challenge.

I'm in!! Didn't do to bad yesterday so today will be day #2. I was just thinking Nita that I can't wait until we start this challenge again. The more I think "on track" the better I do.

I'm so glad you're with me again, Heather.

Since Monday I have lost a total of 7.5 lbs, most of which is probably water, but it sure is nice to see a steady downward trend.

Starting day 5, down just a few ounces, but doing ok.

Still drinking my coffee black - tolerating it, not liking it, but if it will help get the weight off, then that's what I'm going to do.

Haven't exercised, haven't been up to it yet. All week I've gotten home totally wiped out from playing catch-up at work, and from dealing with the computer glitches. I should do some shopping tonight, but what I really want to do is go home and sleep for a few days.
