Day 11. Wow, this has been one tough challenge. I've never had problems like this in the past. I guess it's the upheaval in our lives right now. They are making a lot of progress on the floors, but since it involves the entire house, it's going to take some time, and we have to be patient. They have been so considerate about not leaving tools & stuff around, and sweeping up each day. So I can't complain. It's just having life upside-down, and a kitchen that's cluttered and hard to work in. Maybe tonight we'll eat out. Maybe not, though. I'd be tempted to eat whatever looked good, and not necessarily low carb. No, I'd better stick to homemade, even if it's only ham & cheese.

Heather, as always, I really enjoy your company here. Kat, glad you're sticking with us.

Day 12. So far so good. Had an OMM made with almond meal and whey protein powder for breakfast. Lunch was ham & swiss cheese and a few tiny tomatoes. So far I'm not sure about supper. Whatever I fix, I think I need a gallon of water with it.

Day 13, and still doing ok. Decided to go back to induction on Monday, trying to get away from the cravings in the evenings. I think I'm going to go back to my hot tea in the evenings, it seemed to do the trick. Gotta stock up on some decaf tea, though.

Nice new avatar Nita! I just LOVE Betty Boop too.

Been induction myself for 5 days and the cravings are going away as well as my hunger. DH wanted to have a cheat day tomorrow and I talked him into going on Induction tomorrow if he can remember that far away.

Have a good weekend!

Thanks, Heather. I love Betty Boop, she's the ultimate in femininity!

Day 16. And it's the start of induction, and it's been not a great start. I skipped breakfast......wasn't hungry, and I'm still not really hungry, and it's only half an hour to lunchtime.

Saturday we were in San Antonio, had supper at Red Lobster. Since the only carbs I'd had all day was some jicama, I went ahead and had a plate of breaded stuff. Had a salad w/o croutons, and broccoli, which was inedible because it wasn't cooked enough. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal!

Day 17 of the challenge, day 2 of induction, and so far so good.

I had leftover supper for breakfast. I just can't face eggs or sausage in the morning, so I decided to try something else. It was really quite good! In fact, had the same thing for lunch! Just added 1 cheese crisps and about 4 cherry tomatoes from the garden. Supper will be burgers with some kind of veggie, probably some of the zucchini & yellow squash dh picked last night. Maybe pan fried in butter, with garlic & onion powder sprinkled on top.

Day 18 of this challenge, day 3 of induction. Doing ok. Almost skipped breakfast, then at the last minute I made a protein shake. Glad I did, too. By now I'd be starving! And I'm trying to drink more water, at least the recommended 8 glasses, in addition to my coffee and tea.

Day 19, and day 4 of induction. Doing ok. Made a mock danish for a snack last night, made another one for breakfast. Yummy.

Can't wait to get my Gazelle back into the house so I can start hopping on it once in awhile.

Day 23, Day 8 of induction. I've lost 3 lbs this past week. I'm also completely worn out from getting the house back into order, and we still have piles of stuff to come back in. I get worn out just thinking about it! It's been good exercise, though.

Going strong after 35 days!!! This is such a fabulous journey! I figured out that I have lost .40 lbs a day! Almost two sticks of butter a day!!! Thats for five weeks or 2 pounds a week! (in my best Wicked Witch of the West voice) "I'm melting!!!"

Count your blessings!

Glory, so funny! Ah, to be young and melt that quickly!

Day 24 of the challenge, day 9 of induction. Doing quite well. Now I need to get back to taking my supplements. I've laid off them for nearly a month, and I really need to be taking them. So, my next resolve is to get them into me every day. Perhaps I need to set an alarm at lunch (the best time for me to take them), so I'll remember.

Day 25, day 10 of induction. Ate too much last night, had a major snack attack! But it was all lc, so I don't feel too terribly guilty.

Going to step out of this challenge along with a few other threads since I'm starting my home building process this Saturday. I simply won't have as much time as I would like to play here. Keep up the hard work!!!
