Heather, you'll be missed, but hey, you're gone for a good cause! I hope you pop in from time to time just to say HI!

Today is day 27 of the challenge, day 12 of induction. So far so good. Still not weighing in until Monday.

Day 30. Had one little blip - we ate the new hot wings from KFC; however, the rest of the day the carb count was way, way low, so I'm not worrying about it.

Now that my house is back in order, I'm back to the old routine.

Day 40, still staying pretty close to plan, with a few blips, but all in all, doing ok.

Day 43, still bouncing, as usual. Within a 6 lb range, too. Weird.

Glory, you are doing so well! Ah, to be young and lose fast! Keep it up!

Not as young as you think Nita!!! The loss has slowed a bit now which I expected. If I do .5 a week I will be happy. I am in no hurry. I am feeling so good right now that I can't imagine how I will feel or what I will look like with twenty + more pounds gone. I will be in weight territory that I have explored since the early 80s! What an exciting possibility!! Day 57 for me and I am loving it!!!

Day 44 and doing ok. If I were 10 years younger, I probably would have lost all my weight by now, but then, I didn't have the patience then that I have now, so I probably would have gained it back, anyway.

Started back on induction - again- yesterday. I've got to stick with it and get a good slab of fat off this body.

Day 54. It's been a while posting. I'm still on plan, but not really losing. I'm doing soft foods due to a mouth sore, & no dentist appointment until Monday afternoon. Right now I'd like a steak! But it'll have to wait.

Nita - just stick with it. I usually slow down after about two months. My body seems to be changing shape even though the scale is not changing numbers! I am on day 70 of my LC committment - even though I did plan to add some non LC items over the weekend. I didn't overindulge and I did have plenty of protein to balance things out.

I hope you get your mouth taken care of...it is no fun when you can't eat what you want (on plan, of course!)

Glory, my old body slowed down, and I've been at the same spot for a couple of years. But, I plan to stick to plan, regardless.

The dentist said my denture is irritating my mouth, so it's antibiotics to clear up the problem, then I have to have a reline of the denture. Tonight I ate real food, a lc pizza, but as soon as I was done, out came the denture. I take my first dose of meds tonight. I need to remind myself to take acidophilus with each dose, to prevent stomach problems.

Next week will be a problem, I have a conference, and 3 meals are provided, but we have no say over what the meal is. It's just served to us. And the evening event is themed "State Fair", so there will be corn dogs and cotton candy. No problem avoiding that!

Nita - just make the best choice you can. I hate not having a say in what is served but most of the time there is some type of healthy choice. I am not above disecting my food until I can find what is appropriate for my way of life. Think like a vegetarian! Know what you can have on your plan and stick to it! Let us know how you do...cotton candy YUCK! totally sugar! It doesn't even sound appealing to me anymore.

Glory, I'm going to back out of this challenge for now. When I get back from this next conference, I'm going to start another challenge, but I think I'm going to do a month long one. It's more practical for me.

If you continue here, I'll pop in from time to time to cheer you on. You sure are doing well!
