This is the beginning of day 5, no more losses, but still on plan.

I've started out the day with 2 eggs and raspberry coffee. Since dh isn't here, I can have my flavored coffee and hear no complaints!

Good Morning All....Day 8 for me too. I'm thrilled that we're all doing so well!

Nita...I don't usually care for flavored coffee but i picked up some gingerbread flavor yesterday because it was on sale and it just sounded good. It was such a nice treat in the afternoon! I'm thinking of picking up a couple more bags and sticking them in the freezer. I'm sure its seasonal and I'd like to have some more while it's available!

Good Morning!!!!!

Day 3 for me - down 3 pounds! oh yeah! woo hoo!! But now I'm gonna stop weighing every morning! Cause I know that dreaded scale is gonna stop moving any day now! Next weigh-in for me is Monday. I hope I can stay away!!!

Ate 958 calories yesterday. Pretty even on distribution of carbs/fat/protein, but way under on fiber. I'm in the induction phase of South Beach. I know I'll raise the fiber content once I can get my hands on those yummy LC tortilla wraps! But can't eat'm for now. Funny how I'm not hungry or craving anything yet. My day will come for sure! Had a low grade headache yesterday evening. I'm sure it's from sugar withdrawals.

Going to gym after work and working it for minimum 1.5 hours! Putting my best songs on my Ipod to get pumped up and rock'n-n-roll'n!!
Pump it up Girls!!!

Have a wonderful day!

Onto day 9 and I will finish with success!! Many victories - Arby's fast food I had only water and with my mom I passed up pastries. I passed up junk food today after staring long and hard before throwing it in the garbage. It's hard for me to throw such tasty things away but I was afraid if I kept them for the kids, who didn't come home for hours from school, that I would eat them instead. Victory is mine!! I'm going to make me a nice cup of decaf tea and sit in the bathtub before I go to church tonight. Yeah!!

Starting day 6 with a plate of low carb pancakes - just 2 eggs, a dash of baking powder and a scoop of whey protein powder, browned in coconut oil, topped with butter and DaVinci's pancake syrup. Whoa, they're good!

And, I've lost another entire lb!!!! So it's 2.25 lbs down since Saturday. Yippee!! This old lady is finally seeing results.

JR...you're doing great! I can't weigh myself every day either. It becomes a discouragement to me, so I weigh once a week. Keep up the good work!

Heather...you did so good at resisting temptation! Way to go!!!!

Nita....Don't you just love being able to have pancakes for breakfast and be losing weight!? Congrats on another pound gone.

OK...day 9 for me. I'm not having any trouble staying on plan since I began including lots of fat in my diet. I am satisfied and find that I don't have the need to graze all evening long.

So...let's have a great low carb day ladies!!!

Just wanted to give everyone here a boost! We're all so psyched up, we probably don't need it, but a little encouragement never hurt anyone.

GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!! This is a great place to visit every day! dance2

Queen - those pancakes sound fab!

VernsWife - I know what you mean about adding the fat. It does curb hunger and satisfies cravings!

Baby - I work for a large company and there is ALWAYS BAD food here! We'll stay strong together!!!

Day 4 for me. I did well at my work-out last night. Spent 40 minutes on weights (i'm hurting today!!), then 15 on elliptical. Would have done more on that but my IPOD stopped working! ERGH!!!! I guess I didn't charge it enough!

Stayed away from the addicting scale today - Calories were 1016, fat 36, carbs 57, protein 118, fiber 14 for yesterday.

Feeling good spirited and acid reflux is diminishing! yee haa!!

Best wishes to everyone today!

It's so good to hear everyone is doing fantastic! Today was a tough one. We have some goodies my mom gave us. Not to much off plan foods but foods that can start me on a binge. If it's to salty I crave more so I've been praying and taking to myself. I say I will not eat this and can get through this moment. I can do anything for one day. If I look at this long term I just want to get it since I might deprive myself forever.

Today is day 10 and I'm done eating today. Will go to bed early with the kids if temptations get to hard.

Good morning !!! Day 10, on plan for me. I went to my Mom's last night and my sister was frying chicken. I had a chicken breast and 2 servings of steamed broccoli and cauliflower. The chicken was dredged in flou but it was just a lite dusting..I figure maybe 6 carbs...so I'm calling it on plan.

JR....good job avoiding that scale!

Heather...Great job sweetie! You've had two rough days in a row and stayed on plan. You're doing so good!

Hi Lisa

Good Morning!!!

I ate way to much fat yesterday - OH NUTS! i had walnuts and beer-nuts and went a bit overboard.

Ate 968 calories for the day and a whopping 602 of them came from fat! YIKES! How can 2 oz of nuts add soooooo much fat! They're such tiny nuts!!! Oh well... live and learn...the nuts are NOT on my list to eat for now...

I have to get some other snacks and have them ready when I get home...After leaving work, and kids come home from school, that is my worst time of the day for snacking. Sometimes I just stand at the kitchen counter while my kids do their homework and graze! (I think we need a COW icon!!). This is where I blew it yesterday with the nuts. I ate too many, and it's soooo easy to do that!
Going to the gym again tonight for a 1 hour aerobic workout. That should help!

What do you ladies snack on?

Have an awesome day...

Quick fly by....

I didn't do well today and can't even give myself day 11 so instead of starting with #1 again I'm just going to be stuck at 10. When I started this journey I felt like a failure and that all my work was a waste with even a tiny cheat but now I know that being my own positive best friend is the best approach. I did do 10 good days that aren't a waste. 10 steps forward and 1 back so to speak. Hope you don't mind my 100 day personal adjustment but this is healthy for me to think this way. So, tomorrow I will try to begin day 11 again.
