| - Nita - I do find it encouraging when I can post a great day. These challenges really are great. - JR - Great job on the weight training! I plan on doing upper body myself today. I read that those who weight trained lost the same amount of weight then those who just exercised but lost more fat. Bonus to have nice tight skin. - Vickie - Have a great day!! |

| Day 19, and I'm really mad at my scales. Up a lb - again! So, this is my announcement - I am NOT going to get on the stupid thing for a minimum of one week - period. I'm not going to let a hunk of metal and plastic determine my mood for the day. I'm going to stick to plan, even if the scales say I'm not losing, just for the health benefits. If I happen to lose a bit, so be it. If not, if I'm doomed to be this weight regardless of what I eat or don't eat, then so be it. As long as I'm the healthiest I've been in years, that's what counts. Ladies, I'm in it for the long haul, come what may! Tomorrow I'll be 1/5 of the way through my challenge, looking forward to starting a new challenge at the end of this one. I'm so glad I'm not in this one alone.

| Totally crazy day yesterday - got several phone calls about friends that are very sick or in hospitals - spent afternoon/evening in one hospital - didn't eat - just had coffee - but thank the Lord this friend will be ok. Not such good news on my other friend. Take each day and truly enjoy the people you love. Live to be happy and bring happiness... Ok off my soapbox ladies... Sticking to plan even without sleep! Oh I did miss dinner last night...calories are way down. But eating right today....Don't know if I'll make it to my excercise class tonight...but I will do something. Happiness to all... |

| Nita - you should check out the picture I put in lovingly to Vickie's journal today. - JR - Sorry to hear about your friends. I'm so proud of you for not beating yourself up by overeating! I have a hard time not overeating when I'm tired and you are doing great there is wonderful to hear too. Hope you find some sleep soon and get to take out your troubles with a good workout. |

| today is day 11, and am doing great.... I feel so on top of this woe/wol that I can kick myself for all my "i deserves", I can have a little of this/that's, and everything I said/did to keep me from staying on track all this time... but no longer, I am going to see significant weight loss in 2008 and have no doubt the rest of us will once again see the changes we are hoping for. c

| Hi gang! I weighed in 1-2 days early at LAWL and lost 3 pounds!! I'm a week ahead of schedule with now 12 pounds to goal and 7 weeks left to get there! Must tell more people, lol. I'm so happy! |

| day 12 for me today, no sugar, and eating right...yesterday my carb counts were a little higher than I would have liked, but calories were 1182, and I had two hours of good work outs at the gym ... so I am sure part of it was my workouts....(I also wanted to eat almost everything in sight)...anyway, we are all doing great, keep it up, here comes the weekend. carolyn
