It's day 20! I have 50 days left until my rebate goal weight weigh in so I'm thinking this challenge is great! It's going to take 'at least' 30 days of finishing this challenge for me to get in the mode of maintaining a weight and not this gain, lose routine. Thanks!

Day 22, still on plan, still don't know if I've lost because I'm ignoring the scales.

Keep it up, ladies.

Finished up day 20 yesterday but we had fastfood for lunch and I couldn't possibly claim day 21. Hoping to just maintain since I've kicked up exercise for the day a bit.

oh my gosh! I was reading along here, and thought...hmmm, I'd like to do a challenge, but we have vacations coming up, etc, (excuses, excuses) and then I counted days...we have EXACTLY 50 days before my mom and m-i-l come to visit.

SO...I'm starting tomorrow (and for 50 days I will stay on plan AND exercise. That is my goal! Jan 29-Mar 18!!!

See y'all here!

I had an emotional break yesterday when I just gave in and ate chocolate, ice cream, cookies, and some chips. I didn't binge but i ate enough of each to effect my weight. I also didn't drink much water over the weekend. All this showed on the scale this morning - up 3 pounds.
I got news on Saturday that my friend who was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas this past November is dying. Up until 1 week ago, he was suppose to be ok because they "caught it early".

I hope it's ok with you all that I stay with this challenge even though i totally messed up.

I know we don't really "know" each other here...but if you keep "Carmen's" young family in your thoughts I'd be so appreciative.

Thank you....Jeanie

a little mad at myself for eating cake and pie yesterday at a party... but I will get over it today, eating on track and didn't really do too bad over the weekend, just that cake and pie.... (carrot and choc. pecan) oh they were good, but I knew as I was eating it I shouldn't.... I will pick my self up, brush myself off and start all over again....
work is doing well... still dealing with dh being gone, and hoping that he is getting the help he really needs... saw him on saturday...brought boiled jumbo shirmp, and cole slaw for us to munch on together... it was wonderful.

Jeanie - of course you can stay! We're here to encourage you, no matter that you had a stumble on your journey. I'm so sorry about your friend.

Carolyn, I hope you & dh had a nice visit.

Day 24, still on plan. Weighed yesterday, lost 3/4 of a lb. Whoop-dee-do. I guess it's better than nothing, or gaining!

Day 25 starting out good. Last night I had roasted chicken for supper, and, oh, it was good!

This morning - an OMM made with my hot cereal mix, nice & tender due to the coconut flour in it. Still ignoring the scales.

Carolyn, let's just forget that day, skip it, we don't want you to have to start your count over. After all, it's not a contest, it's just a way for us to get some encouragement from each other.
