| I so very much admire all the folks doing the 100 Day Challenge and The 50 Day Challenge. You guys ROCK!!!![]() But committing to that long of a period, is daunting to me. From the days of Richard Simmons urging people to take it *one meal at a time* and *one day at a time* I can remember thinking, "well, that would be easy to do." HA! I can tell you, sometimes making it from breakfast to a morning snack can push me to the point of losing control and therefore losing *it* for the rest of the day, yanno? As I get older(and maybe just a little bit wiser), some of the old sayings turn on the light for me...yeah, well better late than never, eh? Anyway, I thought if there were anymore of you *day to day* folks out there, it would be nice to have a little place where we could come and say, "I made it through the day on plan!", or "I made it through lunch on plan". No weight has to be mentioned(of course if ya lose it, we wanno KNOW it!), no tracking of food(unless you want to), no exercise required(unless exercise is what you are trying to work in, one day at a time) just a place to come and say..."hey, I made it today!" I don't want to put a time limit on this; I mean, going day to day can last a lifetime, right? So, on Friday, Feb 1st, I am going to start my own personal challenge of a full day of on plan, clean as a whistle eating! Anyone else needing just a day at a time? C'mon...we CAN do this! s

| Shelley, this is a wonderful idea! So many here need this. It's hard to look way down the road, especially for those of us who have a lot left to lose, so going just one day at a time will be just perfect for many, many of our "residents" here. Thanks! |

| i had one of these challenges going some time back and it really helped, getting thru a meal at a time, I agree can be just as hard as making it thru the whole day.... I know... been there... trying so hard not to lose it this time.... I have been reading about those that do succeed with their diets, and most of them say the same thing over and over... stick to it....don't let the little falls take you all the way down, just get back to your food plan what ever it is....so I will probably join you also. c

| Had a good day yesterday. I chose hot and sour soup for lunch with friends, rather than try to pick around the sauces. Looks like a good day to keep on target.

| Hi guys, I'm kinda bumping along with my eating; not totally on plan, but getting close. I'm also trying to drastically reduce my use of splenda in my coffee and tea. I'm down to about 1 drop in my 12oz mug; can't seem to make it to the *black coffee* stage though. Also down to 1 cf diet cola a day also...which is truly a BIG deal for me! Yay! Well, as they say...Rome wasn't built in a day...so I'll get there one of these days. Won't that be nice...to successfully give up all my vices AND eat clean?? Boggles the mind!!! ![]() over and out! s

| Sign me up for the too much coffee club, Nita. I didn't seem to overeat yesterday, at least by the numbers, but my stomach was not happy last night--nothing seemed to be digesting. Ack! Hate that feeling.

| that could be, Shelley. My consumption has jumped dramatically in the last couple of months, probably from combating the winter blahs. Not to mention the tea, diet cokes, etc. I'm one caffeinated babe.
