Smile It is the 30 day challenge!

I am back....yet one more time. They say that Edison invented the light bulb after 999 attempts...I am hoping that it won't take me that long to pull 36 pounds off! I have made the Atkins' attempt within in the last 8 years...I would say 10 times. (Ugh!)
Embarrassing but, true. I have been slightly successful; but the most succesful was the second time that I made the attempt. (I had lost some 46 pounds in 3.5 months)
I do NOT expect those fantastic results on the 11th attempt.
I know that you can only play the beginner card once or maybe twice and the weight just doesn't come off that quick.

SO....about the challenge...I will be starting next Monday the 10th! (the 11th is my 33rd birthday) but all of the celebrations will be happening this weekend.

This 30 day challenge will be stay clean and real for 30 days no cheats!

I would like everyone that is interested to jump aboard...come one come all!!!

This will overlap my 100 day challenge, but I'll jump in with you, if only to keep you company.

Hey PQ! Good to see you back! I have about the same amount to lose, and I'm back for the multiple-th time as well. I can't join this one because i'm about to go on vacation and know I will cheat at least a little. But I wanted to welcome you and wish you the best!

OK, PQ, here's day 1, and it's starting out pretty good.

I had leftover high-protein pancakes with leftover sausage link. Ate a link wrapped up in a pancake, then ate the other pancake plain. Wasn't going to eat any breakfast, was not hungry, but I read in a lc blog about how important breakfast was, and felt guilty, so I nuked the leftovers. I'm trying to drink more water, too.

I'm in!
I need the extra support to be well behaved!
I'm going for strict induction. Mind you, had I been on induction for all of the times I have tried in the last three months the scale would have MOVED!
So I'm in!

I'll join you PQ! I'm still in the learning stage myself - so temptations are still a BIG hazard for me. Funny, I was just thinking yesterday how great an extra push would be!!! Thanks!

Monica you are tough! I can only do two unless I walk. Speaking of that is next on my adjenda! Get going Mick

I promised myself I'd check in so here I am. Tomorrow is measurement day for me also so I'm curious what that will bring

Besides sticking to plan does anyone have any issues they also need to wok on. I need to get enough fluid in. My goal today is an extra big glass.

I hope you all have a FABULOUS and lc day!

Mick, I have been running for over 5 years now. But I max out at 5 miles. That is the most, at once, I have been able to do.

I measured today as well! It is the starting point for me!

I do great on Water, I try to only drink 2 diet pepsi's a day. My struggle is with Variety. I get in a rut and just go with a salad or always something else. That isn't a huge deal, but boredom is what has often led me to cheat. So VARITEY is something I need to focus on!

Today:

Breakfast: Ham and cheese omlette
Snack: peanuts
Lunch: chicken, peppers on lettuce w/ ranch.
Dinner: ham with creamy veggies
Snack: sugar free fudge bar

This morning I did 40 mintues The Firm! I do cardio MWF and conditioning on TTH

Day 2, all ok. Made a casserole last night, with ground beef, onions, celery, mushrooms, green beans, black soy beans, tomatoes w/green chiles, sour cream and lots of garlic & onion powder, and shredded cheddar cheese. Had deviled eggs with a shrimp atop each one.

Will try to drink more water. Really.

It's good to see so many here!
