WTG, Lisa Good for you and great that you got right back on track.

Heather?

I made it again last night, nothing at 7PM.

I am totally amazed at how much better I feel in the morning, I feel more energized. This has really helped eliminate feeling all puffy first thing in the morning. I truly think I've found something that is key for me. Lisa and Heather, have you found that you're feeling better in the morning since not eating after 7? I haven't been this encouraged since I was on track with losing after the first of the year. That enthusiasm came to a screeching halt when I was down 17 days with that horrible upper respiratory infection. I have lost a few pounds since adhering to our Nothing After 7 Challenge. You hear it all the time, "don't eat 3 hours prior to bedtime." To be honest, I've never really dedicated myself to it, now I have and it's great!

You're welcome to join at anytime!

Ohhh......can I join in? SistaSue, I noticed your challenge a few days ago and meant to sign up, but for some reason, got side tracked!

Eating after dinner is a BIG problem for me. I usually save up enough carbs for some munching, but lately, I think I'm munching beyond my means...LOL!

Sooooo........I think this is something I really need to work on and what better way than in the good company of all of you!
Better (4 days) late than never, right???
So, I'm in with ya...nothing after 7PM!...gonna give it my best shot!! The EEK (Evil Evening Knoshmonster) needs to go away!!!

Shell, we thought you'd never get over here! Initiation is tonight, when you have nothing at 7. We're happy to have you, sista, welcome aboard. The tote board is to just keep count so we don't have to scroll back through all the posts to know how many days. Not a competition thing at all. Climb on board and off we go!

Heather, You did it and I KNOW how difficult it is. I'm really proud of you.

Feel free to join at anytime guys and gals.

I just told my DH about the challenge to help remind me over the weekend that it's time to close up the kitchen.

Another day done! It's 7pm and I just had a nice lc snack to make sure I keep my focus.

I was just writing in your journal but wanted to say here too Susie that I'm enjoying the challenge. Because I'm not eating after 7pm I end up with energy to clean during TV commercials. Before the challenge I was starting to turn into a high carb late night eating slug that sat watching TV at night. This means that I'm getting extra steps on my pedometer, saving money, benefits my health, energy and my attitude.

You know, I read an article not long ago about speed cleaning. They recommend to take advantage of 1-2-3 minute time slots during you day, saying you can get quite a bit done during otherwise idle time. Makes sense to me, you go Heather!!!

Hi gang!
Happy to report nite#1 was a success(really, much to my surprise!).
I still wanted to snack, but I dug my heels in and remained totally stubborn(which I'm known for!...snort!) and did not even approach the fridge or the pantry!
I was rewarded too....down 2 lbs!!! totally unexpected, but very welcome!

Gonna keep on keepin' on!

everyone have a NEA7 weekend!(No Eats After 7PM)

Lisa, for getting back on track last night, that's exactly the way to do it. I, too, am finding other benefits that come with NA7C. I truly think this has jump started my weight loss again, my willpower, but most of all my head is back in the game!

Rack up another night for me, even though DH & I stayed up after midnight watching TV. Geez, before this challenge the night munchies monster would have taken over.

Heather, when you check in I will post your stats.
