Yay, Lisa!! WTG!!! I love those B&B pickles, to!!!

NEA7 #4 for me. My tummy was growling at bedtime, but I stuck it out and didn't give in to *it's* demands!!! I think I will try and increase my protein at dinner by an ounce or 2 and see if that will tame that growly tiger!

off I go.....

Congrats to Lisa and Shell!

I did fine last night, too, so I'm 2 for 2. Glad to be breaking an old, rather dysfuntional habit of late-night eating.

WTG, Lisa, Shell and Dix! You guys are doing great, thanks for checking in.

I'm working today and just now getting a chance to post while at home on lunch.

Chalk another night up up for me.

I'm in the same boat with Shelley with the salt. Some friends gave us some wonderful hickory smoked ham and of course, I had some yesterday. Today the scales are up a bit after losing 5.5 pounds after the first few days of the challenge.

I'll give everybody a chance to post today and then we'll update the tote board tonight.

Have a nice afternoon.

Hi all,

It sounds like everyone did great last night. I did well to! I find that when I don't eat after dinner I have a lot more energy. I ran around the house cleaning and working on projects (that I have been putting off) until it was time to turn in. I even witnessed my husband eat an ice cream and then chips and didn't even feel bad about it!...haha...

I'm 2 for 2!

I do the same Neti. I clean up as the commercials come on instead of watch them talk about food and then get some of my own. Tonight I'll be weight training during Biggest Loser which helps curb my appetite too.

Tuesday night down with nothing to eat after 7, although it crossed my mind more than once to have a snack. I battled to nosh monster nose-to-nose and came out the winner.

I made it yesterday! Ate before I went shopping with my mama and sister by 5pm. By the time I got home for Biggest Loser it was already 7pm so it was a really good night.

Hi! I'd like to join this challenge, if it isn't too late. I often hear the no sugar added ice cream (mostly in the house for dh) calling to me in the evenings. That, and chocoperfection bars. I need to try to keep the sweet stuff to a minimum!!!

the late nights are tough, lisa...our schedule runs a little late in general, too. some nights, dh isn't even home by 7, so that's why i asked for the adjusted schedule...i'm sticking to the 3 hours before bedtime. but even if you aren't always making the 7pm cutoff, i'll still bet your habits have improved just with the effort!

on night number five, shell! and excellent use of the hammer in furthering your LCing efforts...

count me in for night 3 of 3! whoo hoo!

i've always known that my late-night eating was never about hunger, but about emotional gratification, relaxing, or the desire to "treat" myself, somehow. but really, it's been easier than i thought it would to just turn it off. knowing that i'm coming in here to report back, the "call of the snack" loses it's appeal, because i'm getting more gratification from helping support my lce buddies than the snack ever got me.

the scale isn't doing much at the moment, but i don't care. i know i'm improving my habits for the long term and i'm very happy about that...

go, na7c'ers!!

This has me working on my head hunger too. Instead of piling food on top of my feeling I have to deal with them. I hope we can keep this challenge going for each month. Please?

Absolutely, Heather!

I have 7 nights down without eating after 7PM. I would have never believed I could do this.

Basically, I started the challenge because I wanted to stop eating 3 hours before going to bed. I'm ususally in bed by 10PM, thus the 7:00PM cutoff.

I know when can't all be in bed by 10PM, so adjust accordingly. We are challenged to quit eating at least 3 hours prior to bedtime. Just post your cutoff time. We want everybody who needs this challenge to be able to participate.

Standing invitation for you to join us at anytime during the challenge.
