Welcome to the NA7C, Garden bfly.

Wednesday made #9 for me! I'm on a roll.

Need some feedback from you guys. Do you want to keep up with the tote board or post the number of nights within your own post, kinda like I did above? I really don't want to turn this into a contest and I'm thinking the tote board might give that impression. Give me some feedback kids.

Have a great Thursday!

Back in the driver's seat! Another successful night.

Susie...does not feel like a contest to me..I am just so glad you started this challenge. It really makes a difference. Keeps me in check..Last night I was a little tempted, but thought about the challenge and it kept me from giving in.

Have a great day all!!

See ya in the morning!

Susie, either way will be okay for me. It maybe easier for you if we just keep track on our own incase you need to step away for a few days. We need to take good care of you our friend too and you never know what might pop up in our daily lives.

It was a blessing that I had church at 7pm last night because I was stressed and may have got into the food. Whew!! Today is day 10!

NEA7 #6 completed!! I'm calling it a success, BUT....
we were up at 0130 with horrible storms and my tummy was really grrrrrowling, so I had a LC legal morsel.
Still couldn't sleep, but the tummy hushed up!

onward...

either way is fine with me...i did think, though, that i'd like to put both the number of nights target hit and of how many; i joined the challenge later than some of you and don't want to feel like a slacker....

i am perfectly willing to keep my own tally, though, if it works out better.

still good, shell!

ok, i didn't make it last night, due to some poor planning on my part...

when dh was hungry for dinner, i wasn't, so i made him some leftovers and had a little snack later for me. i was still in my time frame, but when it came time for bed, i was ravenous...couldn't sleep and my head was full of all kinds of thinking that wouldn't shut up.

i got up and cleaned the house, trying to unwind. i had a philisophical inner dialouge about the spirit vs. the letter of the challenge.

i had some water. and some more water. and tried to unwind a bit more. but i was still hungry. so i had a little ham and cheese. not a lot, but enought to quite the tummy and remind me to make sure i get a reasonable dinner earlier in the evening.

so i'm 3/4 thusfar. still not bad, considering my pre-challenge habits would have propbably put me at 0/4.

Busy day today, so I haven't had a chance to post until now. Last night went fairly well...it took a bit of willpower, but I managed not to eat anything. Oddly enough, I seem to find that it's how much I eat at lunch that determines if I feel munchy at night.

A large YAY! to everyone. What a great challenge! I don't mind keeping track on my own. It's more about me holding myself responsible for following through.

Congrats to you Butterfly on your success!

Butterfly, you're exactly right! That has been the most valuable thing since this challenge began. I'm learning to eat 3 squares, something I haven't always been the greatest at doing. By NOT eating at least 3 hours before bedtime, I'm more than ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Today was one of those crazy work through your lunch, run errands all afternoon. I downed a quick bite of supper around 6:30PM to get in under the wire. I didn't have lunch and I really want to eat something. But guess what, I'm NOT going to. That's me tho. As long as I stay true and focused, then I'm true and focused. Otherwise, well, you know the rest of the story.

I'm so proud of each of you. What the ch allege has meant to you. You're helping me and we're helping each other. Isn't that just too cool.

Bumpy night here with storms, they blew in late and I'm thankful that they were no worse. Sorry for all the folks waking up to damage and devastation.

Congrats Lisa for hanging tough last night! I'm with you, my tummy is growling. this morning.

Night #10 with NA7 for me. I ate a very lite lunch and then not much for supper, ran errands all afternoon and early evening, then I stayed up late. Man that's where it gets ya. Cutting off at 7 and then not getting to be at a decent time. Oh well, the scales have bounced down in my favor this morning, reclaiming the 5.5 pounds I lost.

Here's to having a successful weekend with our challenge!

Kitty Re: Nothing after 7 Challenge

Hey Lisa! WTG on your NEA7!!!
The storms have left much of our state with flooding. We are OK in my area of the metro, but just a little to the NW, folks had water in their houses and many streets are underwater...ack!
Then of course, you have the fools that think their cars automatically turn into a DSV(deep submersion vehicle) and think they can make it through water that is 3-4 ft deep...sheeesh!

SistaSue... to you this morning!!! Yay!!...you are on fire, sista!!!
Have a delightful time with your family this weekend! Sounds like you will be a busy sista!

Well, for the most part I made it through last night; I did eat 10 almonds about 7:30PM, but I stayed up until almost 11:30PM, so I'm counting it as a success. The scales are being hateful, but I'll ignore them until they decide to be nicer!
So, NEA7 night#7 a done deal.

onward!

Hi folks,

I have been out of touch but I have been good! Nothing 3 hours before bed for me.

This is great!

uhhh, what? like i already have something in mind?!
yeah, right....snort!

i just want to reflect it somehow for myself...so today, for example, i'm 4 of 5 for the NEA7... (that's a yes for last night. yay!) so is that 4/5 NEA7? |||| (of 5)? 4 of 5? i dunno! just thinking out loud, m'dear.

Question Re: Nothing after 7 Challenge

I'm going to have a late dinner tonight with DH during his break from work but I promise that I won't go to bed for 3 hrs so that I can officially count day #11. That does count right?
