Thumbs up Nothing after 7 Challenge

I figured the best way to keep myself in check is to start this thread.

This challenge is for everybody who has a hard time with night snacking, noshing, munching, eating...whatever you call it.

I'm going to make a commitment to myself and this forum to really make a concerted effort to cut out the snacking, noshing, munching, eating...whatever you call it, three hours prior to my bedtime for the next 30 days.

Feel free to jump in with me and share your ideas. If you need to adjust your cutoff time, please do.

Tomorrow is April 1st, so let's go for it. Thirty days without late night snacking could make a real difference for us.

Who's in?

I had already eaten well past 7 when I joined this challenge so I'll have to start today as #1.

Lisa, I'm glad you joined in with us, the more the merrier!

Heather, I just went ahead and started last night, but actually today is really the first day of our challenge. That means you're right on target.

With DH's work schedule and the boys at college, my munching at night has gotten really bad. I feel pretty confident this challenge will help a bunch. Every morning or during the day when you can, report how you did the night before.

It hit me as soon as I walked in from work this evening that I need to get in gear, eat my supper and finish up before 7:00 p.m. I am allowing myself to have liquids. In doing that, I'm including SH Jello or a SF Popsicle. Nothing solid. You guys can figure out what works for you.

Open invitation for everyone!

WTG Lisa and Heather, great news!

I'm glad you joined the challenge, it gives all of us extra will power.

Night-Noshing is a difficult habit to break, but we can do it. I'm happy to report that I also held fast and didn't eat anything
after 7.

Feel free to join at anytime.

Another great night so I get another notch - woo hoo! I like the idea so that I know when I get to my lovely 30. My birthday is on May 1st and I'll be 30 years old. It sounds like a good # to reach for me.

Nothing after 7 for me last night, woohoo. I'm starting to get in the groove with this. Last night was my third night, but since we officially started on the 1st, I'm only counting two.

How about Heather and Lisa?

It was easy for me last night since I had to be to church at 7pm. By the time I got home I was ready for bed. Love busy evenings where you couldn't eat if you wanted.
