Hi Lisa! My DH is away too and it's hard! He isn't gone as nearly as long as yours will be but I feel like a highschool girl missing her sweetheart.

Made it another night and even hopped on the elliptical.

Yee haw Linda...scale good...loving DH....fantastic!!
-
The scale looked much better for me too. Last night I wanted to cheat, even went to the cupboards but thankfully nothing was there. Forced to do good! My #'s at Biolife plasma, to show if I'm healthy enough to donate blood plasma, were the best they've been in a long time too. Tonight I have a meeting with my Habitat group at 7pm so I'll just come home and jump into bed when I get home.

HI guys,
Well....
things have changed for me; I've returned to Protein Power for awhile as I needed a change and hopefully will shake things up. Now, the rub here is, that I do have to have a snack around 8-8:30PM or I can NOT sleep. However, this challenge is helping me NOT to eat anything else after dinner until it's my snack time, and then of course after my protein snack, my lips are zipped. Soooooo.......I'd very much like to stay in this challenge, if you all don't mind.
And when I say *I made it last night*, it means the above...NEAS except for the protein snack and THAT"S ALL FOLKS........
LOL!

and, I did make it last night! and...the scales were also down for me this morning....PTL!!!

onward we go!

Please stay Shelley! This can't be helped as no one is alike. If you guys new how many carbs I ate a day you'd flip but it works for me and my exercise plan. I usually have the same amount of carbs as I do protein. Guess I do well on a 50/50 balance.

I am going to call last night a success....although when grandaughter crawled in bed with me at 12:30...I do admit I found my way into the kitchen for a quick taste of peanut butter...then slept like a baby..

Shelley..yes stick around please..what ever works for our own needs is the key..

Heather and Lisa!
You guys are doing grrrreat!!!
We were out *late* last night to a concert, and we had dinner so early(3:30!) that by almost midnight when we got home, DH and I both were *starvin' Marvins! LOL.
He made himself a sandwich, and I opted for my trusty pnb on a wasa sourdough slice.
PNB is the perfect food, IMHO...but if I don't measure it out, I can snarf a jar in 3 days flat! And that's a bad thing!!!

sitting my sites to do better tonight!

I know!! I used to pour chocolate chips in a jar and eat up. Peanut butter is probably my #1 favorite food.
-
Still going strong and feeling great! I'm hoping I'm in ketosis because I'm usually fast asleep right now. I have a bit of insomnia so thought I'd put it to good use catching up here with my friends.

I would love to jump in on this challenge. After dinner can be a trying time. I do have one thing to help me with this. I recently got Invisalign braces and everytime you eat something, you have to take them out and brush and floss before you put them back in. I helps me think twice if I really want that handful of pecans. I am hoping by the time I am done with the braces I will close to or at goal. My dentist will do the Zoom whitening and I will be healthy, thin and have a fabulous smile

Blessings!
