After reading Dr Briffa's article here (and a few others on the subject of A/S(artificial sweetners)) I got to thinking[yeah, I know...a dangerous thing for me to do!] about how much A/S I use. My guess-ti-mation is to much!
So, I'm going to challenge myself to reduce my use of A/S.
I think I will start my cutbacks with my biggest use of A/S: my morning coffee and diet cola in the evening. Now, I cannot tell you how many times I've tried to learn to drink black coffee...blech! Coffee with cream is not an option for me.
So reducing the A/S in my first cuppa *Love * in the morning will be a BIG challenge, but I think I'm ready to break the "addiction" of using so much A/S.
Baby steps, but liberating, none the less.
I've already had my morning coffee, and yes, very A/S'd; but I'm going to limit myself to ONE glass of diet cola this evening instead of my usual 2, sometimes, 3.
This will no doubt, help me boost my water drinking as well!
Anyone wanna join me in "breaking the addiction" to A/S????
