Susan, You posted the same thing that I'm doing. I've been trying to clean up my eating, and I do well all day until around 4:00 or 5:00, then the cookie monster hits. My cravings get me every time - that and those blasted holiday cookies! By the way, guess who made those cookies? Yep, you guessed it....ME!!!!

I've started over yet again today!

Well, girls, it finally stuck with me (I hope ). I've made it a couple of days staying on plan. Woohoo for me. It's hard to get it going right. Still not in ketosis yet. I imagine by tonight or tomorrow morning I will be though. I'm trying my best to follow the original '72 plan. I received my book - which is a reprint of the orignal. It seems to be easier and easier to find every day, as a lot of people (females especially) who are like me and don't seem to lose very well on the "new" plan. So far the biggest thing that I can see is that you actually eat cleaner. Nothing processed (which I know is pushed also in the newer plan), big limits on cream, no cream cheese to start out with, and lower levels of legal veggies (doesn't bother me, I don't really like too many ). I'll keep you all posted on how well I think it's going. Of course, I no longer weigh. I'm terrified of the scale, but I can already see a difference in my face (less puffy, clearer skin).

How about the rest of you? How's re-Induction going, Susan?

Well, I'm eating cleaner again, but the Fairy seems to have forgotten where I live. I'm still stuck with the 2.5 Christmas pounds. I hate to say it, but I'm afraid that I might as well not worry about it too much until next week. It seems that the school schedule is beneficial to weight loss. Of course if I could put my self on some kind of schedule while at home I might do better. I really have enjoyed to lack of structure though!

Today's bummer thought........ another teacher and I are meeting in a few minutes to do block plans for the next semester. Don't you just love having to work on the holidays?

OK guys --- I'm starting Ch. 5 and getting us ready for the second semester. Don't leave me out there by myself!
