| Hi, Lisa. They are just various things that one or another of us has decided to take on as a goal (long or short term) and see if anyone wants to join us. | Hi Lisa, the challenges are just a way to chat with other people who are doing the low carb thing, while cheering each other on and encouraging each other, It kinda helps keep me motivated. Im hosting a challenge that will go until the first day of summer. There are several challenges going right now. Just browse around. Debbie |

| A challenge is a way to keep yourself motivated. I am on the exercise challenge - making sure I get to the gym every day - almost like having a personal trainer without the expense, and also on the now till summer challenge and have challenged myself to lose 20 lbs by then. It gives me a sense of power to say I can't eat that I won't make my challenge (call it goal if you want). I did the valentines day one, but didn't meet my challenge, was having trouble knowing how many carbs to eat with the amount of exercise I was doing and talked to the Low Carb trainer on this site and upped my carbs, and here I go... http://www.youravon.com/cnorulak carolyn in texas started 8/11/03 327/283/150 |
