Hi,
Got in 10 mins. cardio warm up, and today was legs day with the weights. This new program compared to the circuit training may just kill me. My legs haven't been this jello since my first exercise day back in Oct.

Have a great day everyone,

Jeremy

Good morning. Missed you all yesterday due to internet problems here.

LBWO today, pushed all the weights up again. last day of Cycle 1 (6 wks) on Body Rx. Starting Cycle 2 next week, w/ more protein, less carbs, and more fiber.

Jeremy - I know exactly what you mean. the first week of a new routine is killer, then you'll probably be just fine starting the next week. At least, that's how the few different programs have worked for me so far. Soon you'll be "strong like bull"!

Good morning,

Where is everybody? I hope we haven't lost anyone, just no-one checking in. My legs are still killing me from yesterday, but tonight I'll get on the recumbent bike while I study.

Have a nice day!

I'm here - but bailed on cardio this morning. Work has been hell and I was absolutely whipped when I got home last night, so I overslept this morning. As I am NOT an evening workout person, I shall take this as a day of rest. LBWO tomorrow AM.

well the past week was interesting for me. I was in our state capitol lobbying for a few education bills, and basically just meeting with some politicians! I had a blast and there was a bunch of other college aged kids up there. I got a total of 5 hours of sleep for the 2 days we were up there. We had 2 dances those nights and boy oh boy did my legs kill till yesterday! I did an UBWO because I thought I should give them a little rest. Between the dancing for 4 hours both nights to climbing stairs in the capitol the entire next day, I think they needed a little bit of a rest! I havn't caught up on what everyone else has been up to, but I'm guessing you're all doing great. Kepe up the good work!

No workout today as I am in a panic about everything I have to do at work today (sometimes the mutual fund industry really stinks - at least I'm employed *sigh*).

Have a good one, everybody - will plan to do LBWO and some cardio tomorrow - hail to the long weekend.

Good morning this Friday the 13th!

Shoulder and ab workout today, always glad it's Friday, and my 4 days this week are over. Hopefully I'll get some walking in on the golf course this weekend.

Lynda - sounds like fun, although I'd be dead afterward...

LLB - keep it up! another week and the cravings should start to lessen.

Happy Friday!

I got in my short cardio, and today was chest/shoulders/back with the weights. I'm in the new program a week now, much more energy for the workouts with the new diet, but my weight has gone up 4lbs (eating clean). I'll give it another couple weeks to see if it will really work for me 'til I try something else.

John, golf in Feb.? man am I jealous, our courses have 3ft of snow on them. How has working out affected your game?

Have a great weekend everyone,

Jeremy

Jeremy - yep, we can usually play some of the time in Feb, unless there's frost. We've had frost most days this week.

Remember to drink plenty of water while switching over!! Glycogen (carbs) attach to water molecules, so you need plenty of water to keep things flushed! I'd also recommend watching the starchy carbs in the evening. Not sure what or if you are on some formal program now.

Hello, anybody out there??

I'm still here, starting a new 6 week cycle today. This is the "sculpting" phase that comes after the "getting stronger" phase. More reps, more sets, more protein, less carbs, more fiber. That's it in a nutshell. Now, some of you get on in here!

Good morning,

Today was a 10 min cardio warmup, and shoulders/arms day with weights. This is week 2 of my new program, the routine is consistant, but the exercises change with every workout, makes me sore in different places every time. I'm still having trouble with the modified diet, it is difficult to get past the carbs are bad mentality, but I've stuck to whole food type carbs and haven't had a problem yet. Only time will tell.

Have a great Monday everyone,

Jeremy
