Good Tuesday morning. Started the Cycle 2 of Body Rx (6 week cycles). Wow, what a difference. I've gone from 3 sets of 6 to 4 or 5 sets (4 for larger muscles, 5 for smaller) of 10 reps. I was definitely "hurtinunit" this morning.

Jeremy - carbs are NOT the enemy!! Keep em clean, meaning fruits, veggies, and whole grains, and you'll do great!

LLB - you have my utmost admiration in the tobacco arena, it's not easy. You'll be so glad you did. Not to mention, no more of those pesky burn holes in your clothes and automobile upholstery!! And you won't reek!! How's the diet going? I was wondering what flavor of program you're doing.

Sat morning - austin texas 2 inches of snow, but the gym was open and went for two 1 hour water aerobics, sunday, water aerobics, monday day off from work, swam my mile plus a 30 min water workout, this am, water aerobics.
Snow in austin tx is a rare thing, by noon it was melted off and on sunday the temp was in the high 60's.... doesn't last long here (the cold weather).

Hello everyone!

Boy did I do bad this weekend...I mean I can't recall doing any type of exercise. I rode the bike yesterday for about 45 minutes and walked my son to school today and added another hill on the walk. My son wasn't too happy about the extra hill, but I told him it would help him to go hiking this summer so I think he forgave me. -- Hope everyone is doing well on this Tuesday afternoon.

John- thanks for your kind words; I never had to worry about burn holes I have allways been a pinch between the cheek and gum will do ya kinda guy. I am doing Atkins-started 1/1/04 at 245lbs and I am down t0 218lbs.

Did 45+ min cardio yesterday- going to start adding using a sauna today-have heard it will help with my dry skin.

LLB, wow, 27 lbs. in just under 7 weeks. The women are going to hate you! What's your goal weight?

Back/tris this morning. I'm definitely "hurtin'unit" again today. I'm in an increasing the protein, lowering the carbs phase, and it hasn't been too bad so far.

Hi everyone,

Today was a mile warm-up on the elliptical, down to almost 9 mins, goal is eight. Legs day with the weights, I'm jello legs again, almost fell down the stairs this morning from being worn out.
Nice to see we still have some people sticking to the challenge, I know checking in keeps me motivated, that and I will get those six pack abs by summer

Have a great day

LLB - I was thinking what John wrote. The women are going to hate you (Ha Ha) How come it is that women can't lose as fast as you men?? I have been on the Atkins since 10/20/03 and have lost 45 pounds...It just doesn't seem fair.

I was able to do the bike today, but not walk my child to school as it was too slick from melting snow then rain and then freeze. You got to love Montana weather...You never know what it will be like when you wake up in the morning. Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday.

Hi everybody,

Still here. Haven't been posting much. Work weeks are typically 60 hrs and I've just been so bushed. Workouts are on track. Doing all around ubwo with dumbells. Doing 300 crunches every morning.

Jeremy, I want that six pack too.

You guys are doing great!

Hi everybody,

Today is my off day, early am school and evening school, so just a long walk is all I'll get tonight.

Gregg, 300 crunches? that's incredible, I'm happy with 30.

Have a nice day.

Good thursday morning,

glad to see so many posters in here.

Heather - 45 pounds is phenomenal! Way to go.

Gregg - good work on the crunches. I do about that many, but only 1 day a week. I'm sure I couldn't do it every day.

Day off today, but I moved some heavy bookshelves around.

Carolyn - I know what you mean. 97 degrees is nice for sitting in, but too warm for actual swimming.

Hello to all. 60 min cardio and the sauna felt great, plan to do that more often.

Jeremy, I want the six pack too- but first I have to get rid of all the six packs I've allready drank while getting rid of the ones I still drink.

Happy Friday,

This morning was 10 min cardio warm-up (I'm trying to do a 8 min mile but I can't seem to break 9), then chest and back day with the weights. Adding alot of healthy carbs seems to have really helped me get throught my workouts, I'm doing more than twice the workout on the new program than I was with circuit training, and my strength is getting better.
Signs of spring are finally starting to show, my schwinn goes in for a tuneup this weekend, I can't wait to get back on it.

Have a great weekend everyone,

Jeremy
