This is the next version of the No Weigh Challenge. The preference is to only weigh once a month - if you are going to curves, just let them do it!

You can pick your starting date, and then post a month later. The goal is to be less fixated on the scale, and concentrate on the fitting of clothes, measurements, and health benefits.

Drop in when you want to get encouragement to stay off that nasty, lying scale, to report 'non-weight' related accomplishments, or just to generally chat. But you can't post your weight loss for a month.

Mary Kay,
I would like to join again. I didn't weigh on the 18th and have 4/1 as my weigh in date. 4/1 is my bday and seeing the scale move down would be a good gift plus great motivation to not eat cake!!!!!!!!!!

the 1st is a good day for weighing. Got one every month

I'm kinda sticking with mid month (guess who comes to visit me the first week of the month?)

so, you're an April Fool baby! bet you don't get teased about that!

Mary Kay:

Love the bit about the nasty, lying scale

Good luck with this challenge - I'm addicted to the scale, so I can't join you, but I wanted to say hello.

Okay Mary Kay I am going to try this but can't go for a month. I am shooting for 11 April, just in time for the Easter challenge. This way I can start adding weights to my workouts without being deathly afraid of the weight I will gain from muscle. I hadn't weighed for over a week until today because TOM came and I just go beserk the week before and the first couple of days. I was happy to see 188.2 this morning while TOM is still here. So here's the deal I will not weigh until 11 April 04. I hope this doesn't cause me to eat hc, but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO addicted to the scale.

Oh, thats right! Kameron reminded me I'm in the easter challenge too! Maybe I'll skip the first or just weigh twice!
Mary Kay belive it or not the only one who ever teased me about my 4/1 birthday was my brother. He once told me when I was about ten that Mom cancelled my party.

This is hard, every morning and every night I look at my scale and he calls out to me. "mommy come get on my, I got pretty red numbers to show you" But I know the numbers, while they may be red, won't be pretty. I gotta get rid of the thing!

think of the little boy in Pet Cemetery, or the clown in IT. The scale is just another vicious creature from Stephen King's imagination. So tempting, so nice to visit every day - BUT SO EVIL!!

Anything that can make you so happy some days, but throw you into severe depressions on most other days should be ignored as much as possible.

I know Mary Kay right, if the scale was a friend we would say it was a toxic friendship! Mattie13 from on the summerchallenge is a friend of mine and she said to bring her the scale but I think dh weighs himself. But I am not going to do it until next wednesday. And between the not weighing the exercise and kiss challenge, if I haven't lost anything I don't know what I'm going to do!
