Default One Day at a Time

I am starting this challenge and extend to anyone that is having trouble keeping on track. After vacation I found I couldn't get back on track ... would do ok for a day or two, then falter, etc. for about a month now.
So, I am trying to just go one day at a time and keeping track of food at fit day, tracking exercise on the monthly exercise challenge, and hopefully being accountable on this challenge will help me and others get back on track with their eating.
I am in my third day of no sugar, and eating on track.... keeping track of all food eaten to see where I need to tweek, etc.
come join me

I was waiting until the two of you realized that you had posted the same challenge to join in...and now here I am!

I have been having some struggles for the last week and a half, so I am also going to do this! I have had a clean day so far, and I am heading to the fridge to get my clean lunch now!

How are we going to do this? Everyday check-in? Details, or just a note that we have had a clean day? I haven't (successfull) done a challenge before, so this is new to me!

Well we can post daily how we are doing, weekly, what ever works, what do you need.... is it the daily posting that helps you keep on track, or can you wait for a weekly... I personally need the daily posting right now... It seems like I am constantly thinking about food right now - what I am going to eat, when i am eating, snacking, etc... so honestly what is going to work.
My mini goal is to get thru this first week, one day at a time.
so far so good

I want in on this one, too. I'll start tomorrow. I do fine through breakfast/lunch, but dinner is a challenge sometimes. If we cook at home, its fine, but when I get tempted is when we eat out. (which seems to be quite a bit) Also, my main vice is LC icecream (which I only have a small amt. of) but I put regular choco syrup and peanut butter (which is all natural, only peanuts and salt) on it. (which is probably NOT a good thing). This habit I will have to break.I have yet to "make" any one of my challenges/goals. I have been hovering around 201.5-203 for the last 2 months. I did see 200.5 one time, though. I need a kick to go through the 200 lb hoop.

Cindi welcome, you might want to throw out that choc. syrup and get rid of the lc ice cream for a while, and get back to the basics of this woe....I know I had to get rid of everything I shouldn't eat to really get back on track...

It's going to have to be daily checks for me as well... Especially over the weekend when I let it all hang out!!! my goal is to make it thru the 5th without straying OR buying any LC "treats". Damm, I never thought I'd miss the days when LC was mostly underground and all these tempting but devilish treats didn't exist!!

Welcome aboard Cindi and Mary!

I also would like to check in daily. I think I will check in each day to report on the day before because I am most often on the Internet in the morning. I might not check in each weekend day, however, because I am often running around like a crazy person.

YAY! I am excited about this! And still doing well today!

Maria, just think that those things don't exist, resist resist, the temptation. In the 11 months I have been on LC I have hardly gotten any of those lc treats... just don't want to get into the habit of eating that instead of the real thing. I ran with the philosophy that if I really wanted something sweet, I would eat the real thing.... maybe that is why I am where i am today LOL.
but I rarely would eat the real thing....
I think I read all the stories of the LC treats making you run to the bathroom, and didn't want to get into them....
Anyway, I will try to check in this weekend, I have off from work on monday, so I will for sure check in then...., but will do so on sunday also...
take care, good luck, see you tomorrow
oh, I am doing good so far today.

I'm in too. I've started a journal also so that I can be accountable to myself. Today so far the eating has been good - but I'm sitting here, not at all hungry, thinking about what I want to eat! AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! I am NOT hungry, I am NOT hungry... We can do this - one day at a time!

Glad you can join in ladybug, I know what you mean about wanting food... sometimes I think I am a good candidate for that new hormone they found that tells people when they are full and when not (in the stomach I believe - heard about it on the news the other night)... cause sometimes I can eat, and still want more and more.... oh well, trying to eat what I bring to work, and eat healthy at home (no junk food or lc treats there any more)

I would love to join as well! I really need the daily accountability!
Today was "clean" so far! I have plans for leftover chicken for myself for dinner, with hi-carb junk for the family ;-) lol! I cannot give up my lc ice-cream, tho! The rest of the family regularly has the full sugar type, so lc is how I avoid feeling left out! Actually, I have recently replace theirs, with the lc kind, and they dont know the difference! I feel better about them eating less sugar anyway.

Stayed on track yesterday, went a little higher in carb count, but no sugar, just seemed to eat more during the day (maybe it was that mile swim I did in the morning)
looking at another day of no sugar today (day 4) for me
