Great to see someone take the ball and run with it.... no problem with me getting this started... I did my water aerobics this am, and she had us doing interval training in the pool.... I feel like I had a great work out.
here's to a new month, and new challenges.... anything special you want to work on, write it down and keep us posted during the month on your progress.

Thumbs up Re: July Exercise Challenge/Accountability

Hi all Happy July!

It is nice to change things up a little good going Carrie and Carolyn.

My w/o routine is getting to be just that ... kind of routine. I am changing up the abs by adding weight to the crunches and adding (slowly) some leg lifts. And I am making good progress too with the weights and am getting stronger and a little bigger. So I don't want to change things up too much.

For this month I just want to keep on keepin on. 2 weight w/o's, abs 5-6 times,
and tennis as my health allows.

This am I did weights and abs. Up to 15 lb added weight on the crunches. Still trying to lose a little more fat around the mid-section. Oh 6 pack where for art thee?

I'm glad you started the new thread Carrie. I like that we swicth it around and everyone get's a chance to host the thread.

Let's make July a month of determination and focus.

I hope some new faces will join us. C'mon in the water's fine!

Hi,

Well two days ago I started my "Get ready for the army" work out schedule..and since I have a little while to go I need am breaking it up into pieces. At my lunch hour I am Working my way up to running 1 mile...I light jog then slowly intensify it till I can't do it anymore, Catch my breath and start over. I do this for about 30-45 minutes...I am on my way to hitting that mile...then it will be 2 miles

I already have a good amount of muscle mass due to my previous years of football(7)..so I will not take back up weight lifting till due time

Welcome Carbhater, Good going with ther running!

Did weights and abs today. Found a good leg lift position on the incline bench. Really targets the lower abs.

Thanks for the good words Carrie! I've been pretty faithful to my woe, and the exercise really helps.

Hope you all had a fun holiday weekend!

She actually has to work today and thursday but off on Fri. She's not too much of an exerciser. just naturally thin. I know, tough life.

Doing the same stint today. Cardio at gym (running) and then biking.
