I did okay this weekend -- Did eat 1/2 of a baked potato today, but I do that occasionally and it did not add up to more carbs than usual -- so here's hoping for a loss to report in the morning. Got several long walks in, stayed on plan, --- so it was a great weekend.

Did great on friday, saturday....well, lets say I had 4 homemade pecan cookies with a mini dove bar in the middle, then some pizza (maybe 2 regular size pieces...) did drink a lot of water, and ate veggies and fruit, and did work out 2 hours that day....
Sunday, ate lite, not a lot of carbs, but did eat some veggies and fruit.
I hate going places - I try, I brought fruit, veggies trays, and a roasted chicken, but that pizza (hadn't had any in a long time) and those cookies....
mmmm, back on track .... no sugar yesterday, but didnt' drink enough water,
On my way to a gallon today (already got in 2 quarts)
Have a square dance/pot luck supper on saturday, need to resolve to eat better and not pig out on sweets....

Kind of blew it Sunday but was good the rest of the weekend. Actually did do better than usual though since the cheats were all low carb. Ate 50 net carbs and 2700 calories Sunday. So too much food by far.

I think I could have done better on Saturday but for the most part, I did okay - with the exception of having more than one serving of the Carb Solutions Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream. I would have been better off just buying some No Sugar Added Peanut Butter and eating two tablespoons of that...learned my lesson from eating more than one serving of that stuff. Just made me sick, sick, sick...blah...told the dh he could have the rest of it.
It will be a very l-o-n-g time before I ever eat that stuff again!

Sunday, I did okay with everything and didn't eat too much. Just drank lots and lots of water - probably close to a gallon - trying to flush out that ice cream and the sugar alcohol...my guess for calorie intake would be under 1200 and for carbs, under 40...

Am not too sure where I stand as far as weight is concerned but not too worried about it right now...my clothes still fit, and that's good enough for me right now!

Are we ready for another weekend - no binge challenge...
I know I have to really work hard this weekend, going to a Square dance (30th annual) pot luck supper.... and there is usually some great food.... deserts....sweets.....et. al...gonna try practicing what I preach... bringing what I want to eat and trying not to go for some of that other food that will be there
anyone else joining me this weekend.

I'm joining you this weekend and there will be no overindulging in that ice cream ever again! Blah....

Don't have any big plans for the w/e so should be just fine with everything. Usually the bbq on Saturday for us - and that's always lc, of course. DH might have a hamburger bun for his burger but I always pass it up when he asks if I want one.

I'm sure you'll do well at the pot luck but I will wish you luck anyway!

Today, I turned down a piece of ice cream cake @ work. The lady that offered it to me was surprised I turned it down. She kept on asking me if I was sure. I told her I was positive! And then a few others offered me the same cake as well - not realizing that I had already been offered it - and I turned them down as well. I just had no real desire to eat cake. So I'm off to a good start!

Here I am, checking in! I bought dh & I a sirloin to share. I ate a peice about the size of 2 sticks of butter and let him have the rest. That was a BIG steak! And, I just had a simple salad aside from that. For dessert, I made myself another root beer float, using Diet A&W Rootbeer and Keto Vanilla Moon ice cream, maybe 1/3 of the pint. It was soooo gooood! I have to remind myself that it's legal!

Tomorrow is school clothes shopping with my sister and dd. Next weekend is the tax-free weekend, but dh and I will be in San Antonio then. The following weekend is the one before school starts, so that's cutting it too close! So, tomorrow it is. My sister likes Chick-Fil-A and so does dd, so we will probably go there for lunch, in the interest of time and money.
I wish the best to everyone on this weekend challenge. Saturday morning is the last weigh-in day in July and I have a goal I'm trying to reach!

I'm doing all right so far this weekend. Haven't gone on a binge but have eaten some higher carb foods. Not much of them, really. Just some trail mix but fortunately, for me, I don't like the chocolate buttons they put in it - blah - and dh is not much on almonds...so a good trade off...and then just 10 Sweet Maui Onion chips. I couldn't tolerate more than that...taste too much like sour cream and onion chips and don't like those. Guess I'm a really picky eater. So far, today...

Breakfast - 1 egg, 1 oz Provolone

Snack - 1/2 cup trail mix

Lunch - 1 oz Peanuts (wasn't really hungry)

Dinner - 4 cups Spinach w/ 2 Tbsp Olive Oil Vinagrette, hamburger patty, thin slice of onion, 2 slices lc bread, 10 chips. 1 oz Provolone, 20 oz diet caffeine free pepsi

And have almost gotten 64 oz of water in...and aiming to get 36 more in...

Skipped the gym today but did a 15 minute walk and a 45 minute walk today...

Haven't gotten on the scale so don't know where I am and not too worried about it as long as I can just maintain where I am right now. I am going to use my clothes as a set point for progress.

Good luck to everyone else!

Sheyla

I did okay this weekend. No binges, but a few lowcarb "treats" instead of eating clean. I probably had too many carbs today as a total, but lots of fruits and veggies. My TOM started today, that may account somewhat for my "munchies". I know even when it's lowcarb, enough of it adds up. But, it's back to the old grindstone tomorrow! Weekdays and the schedule predictability that comes with them are easier for me, anyway. No binges, but not good on carb counts or water this weekend. :(

Did great on friday, and sunday and part of saturday.... went to a square dance pot luck supper (25th annual), and did ok until I saw all the brownies, and couldn't resist 4(count them 4) sweet treats....
Over that, went to gym yesterday and got in two hours in pool, and drank lots of water.
hopefully next weekend will be better.

Carolyn, at least you just picked yourself up and moved on after having those brownies...and you did good - it wasn't a morning till evening binge type of thing, either...I did that one time - went on a cake binge from morning to evening - oh, it was so horrible! And the sugar withdrawal symptoms that came afterwards! I vowed NEVER to do that again! That was about four months ago - and I haven't done anything like that since.

I wouldn't necessarily say I binged this weekend. I didn't eat as much as I usually do on the w/e's - I probably ate a little less than last weekend but higher carb foods. I'm sure that's the reason I ate less. On Saturday, my dh and I decided to go enjoy a Reese's (Reese's PB Cups are my weakness - I've heard they're coming out with 1 carb Reeses....hmm) McFlurry from McDonald's...so we did. And this time, I didn't look at it as going back to square one or me falling off of plan or deciding to go back to an induction for a couple of days. I looked at it as a way of us enjoying ourselves. I don't think a McFlurry will hurt if you have one every once in awhile - but not every single day - not every single week...and I'm at a weight now where I know I can eat one, be satisfied and then continue on with my woe/wol...

Yes, I kind of knew I would be tempted on saturday night, so I made sure I ate light on friday, earlier in the day on saturday, went to the gym on saturday and sunday and ate lite on sunday.... lost 1 lb last week....
I have learned that if I do eat something off plan, the next food I eat is back on plan.... I can't let a binge go too long.... that is what happened on vacation and in the month of june....
so....
you seem to have a good handle on eating treats.... I am still working on those ... have to keep them under control/wraps for a while....
I tend to gorge when I am confronted with something I should n't eat.... I don't have cravings, as much as I have no control....
working on that

I did well Friday and saturday but caved a lot on Sunday. Still overall I think I did better than I was doing a few weeks ago.

Well, I'm ready to get this weekend off with a good start. After breaking my stall, there is NO WAY I am going to let the pounds come creeping back on. That will be incentive enough not to binge or go overboard or indulge.

Good luck to everyone else!

We are going to spend the weekend with some dear friends and I let her know where I was with my food, and she has made this wonderful menu, all because of me:
Tonite: taco salads (sans chips for me)
Tomorrow: breakfast bacon and eggs
cheese to snack on
dinner Steak an salad
SUnday Breakfast bacon and eggs
then heading home....
I will bring my splenda, lc tortillas, some yogurt, and maybe some fruit.
I am excited about having a great weekend away from home and not having to worry about my food... siting on the river in a raft (oh did I mention they live on a river) enjoying doing nothing.... and playing with our friends - cards, dice, dominoes.... etc. al
talk to you all on monday
