| First of all, you should know that we are NOT DOCTORS and CANNOT and will not give you medical advice. Your fiance needs to consult his physician ASAP. EVERYONE -- especially those with pre-existing health conditions as serious as your fiance's -- should read up extensively on this way of eating (or any diet for that matter) before beginning and should inform their doctor(s) of their decision beforehand. This way of eating can seriously affect blood sugar/insulin levels and should NEVER be attempted without a doctor's knowledge & supervision. It's very possible that your fiance's meds need to be adjusted now that he is eating LC, but that can only be determined by his endocrinologist and cardiologist! Good Luck & please keep us posted,

| I just wanted to add a good book for this is the diabetic solution by Dr Berstein...but I agree to call the doctor for advice.......they should be available 24 hours a day. Good luck. |
