| April is right. Your friend should talk to her doctor. The sooner, the better. Glucose tablets are used, especially in the Bernstein approach (which is, IMHO, one of the best approaches to tight control of blood sugars in diabetics), when one is having an insulin reaction. Your friend needs to take control of her own diabetes and that means educating herself and working closely with her md.
