Cool Food and Supplements question/ article

I found this web site and I was wondering what others thought of it.

www.adhd-becalmd.com/ingred.php?id=173630

Sounded too good to be true but since being low carb/ or lower carb I have found some of this stuff. Wondering what others thoughts are. I would never do this because I hate swallowing pills and supplements but I thought the food stuff was interesting.

This particular combination would concern me Levismom. Two of the amino acids listed are quite useful, but for opposite effects. One works with the "excitatory" neurotransmitter pathway, and the other for the "calming" neurotransmitter pathway. I'm not sure there'd be much affect if taken at the same time. Unfortunately, if one is deficient in amino acids (and those are the main ingredients that would affect mood/behavior in this formula), it's often difficult to get enough through foods to do the job, IMO.

It just sounds like they could cure so much with such little effort and it if were really true, then there would certainly be more hype about it I would think. I have found since doing LC my nutrition gets off and I really "feel" it. Can't concentrate mostly. Eventually I discover what is missing and get balanced back out but I sure wish this was easier.

Connie, I don't know anything about what you posted, but have you considered a liquid multi? I take one that actually tastes pretty good and it wouldn't be pills...
