| I ran across this article this morning, and thought that this was important news, and certainly encouraging.

| One of the first articles I found when I started researching low carb diets in early 2003 was by a nurse practioner who specialized in the care of epileptic children. The article was intended to help parents manage their epileptic child's ketogenic diet (in the face of temptations outside-goodies at school, friend's homes, etc.). It sounded as though a ketogentic diet was an accepted protocol for such children. Anyway, I figured if it was safe for children, that was a very good indication it was safe for me!
