    Default New Sugar Substitute

Here's a link to an article from DiabetesInControl.com:

A new sugar substitute called Shugr is about to hit the shelves. It's made from Erythritol, Tagatose and Polydextrose. In the article above, there is a link to the Shugr site. Sounds very interesting.

Interesting Alida! MAggie's group will probably do some testing when this product hits the shelves. I know some good things about erythritol and tagatose but don't know much about polydextrose.

A 3 oz. shaker bottle is $13 though! Yikes!!

They're gonna have to market it in some kind of bulk packaging that is affordable before I'll buy it - I've been happy with the Diabetisweet and poly-d.

    This sounds really interesting though!

They won't get my business either if they can't cut the price at least in half.
