| I am conducting a study into relationships between dieting and wellbeing as part of my PhD at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. I started this study about six months ago and have posted messages on these pages before. I found that Atkins dieters are more psychologically adjusted in terms of stress and mood than low fat dieters and non-dieting controls. I have recently decided that I need more participants just in the Atkins condition so that I can get a more accurate picture of changes in well-being amongst Atkins dieters as the levels of carbohydrates consumed increases. However I have received an excess number of responses from people in the ongoing weight loss stage and thus I really need participants from the other stages to complete the study. Please complete the study for me. It will only take 20 minutes or so and is really valuable research as there is non other like it.... The questionnaire is available at: http://www.dietblues.co.uk All the information you need is available here. I hope you can help. Nicola Turnill. |
