Thanks Trina for pointing that out so promptly! Not your puter - operator error. I had the http in the link twice. It should work now.

Thanks Rob, I saw this story too and was wondering if anybody here is participating in CCARBS (The Controlled Carbohydrate Assessment Registry Bank Study)
I was thinking about joining it.

I had the chance to speak to that researcher. She's cool. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with her. If anyone can participate, you should do so. It would be quite helpful to the project!

I'm a member of the CCARBS study...I can't remember how I got hooked up with them to start with, but is was at the beginning of their program. A couple times a year they ask you to complete a VERY detailed food questionnaire, from which they send you back an equally detailed analysis of your nutritional intake. Once a year, they ask you to submit a verified weight reading, one taken by a health care professional.

If they're still accepting participants, it's a pretty effortless way to help with the long-term studies we're all wanting to see, and the nutritional data they provide is very interesting.

I started to get hooked up with them, had faxed them stuff, etc., but their website wouldn't work for me, so I gave up.
