Default Saddam

I heard reported on the radio this morning that Saddam enjoys scarfing down bags of Dorittos every day. Hmmm.

Why this info bit gets reported is anybody's guess. I know the media spins against low-carb whenever they can and I know the media spins against junk food. If we could only get them to connect the dots.

LOL! so true. News media seems to have morphed into entertainment media (starting about about 15 to 20 years ago). And, it only seems to get worse as the years roll on. It's all about "getting excited" rather than balanced reporting based on the facts.

As for Saddam, after months and months of no news about him, lately we've been hearing reports that "trivialize" him (potty/bathrobe pics, Doritos preference, etc.). I don't think that's happenstance - I suspect that's our government manipulating the media to change world view about Saddam.

Sometimes I wonder just how free our press really is these days. How much of the spin on LC eating (positive or negative) is influenced by the big food producers (wheat growers, cattle producers, etc.)?

I just read where he prefers Raisin Bran Crunch cereal, but says no to Fruit Loops.

That's because it would be cannibalism, Kumus.
