Rob, that was indeed interesting. I remember when Dr. Adkins, after his death, got the bad rap....... so nice to actually see his widow speaking out. Thanks for posting it!

Veronica Atkins is a very attractive lady, judging by the photo. That speaks volumes about the Atkins Nutritional Approach. She did a good thing to sell the food company early on, and distance herself from the frankenfoods phenomenon, which has come to an ending unmourned by me.

I'm sorry Dr. Atkins died before I had a chance to write a letter thanking him for his persistence and persuasiveness. I miss him as one misses the teacher who made all the difference. I am definitely one of the "Atkids."

I'm so glad she is has been working towards educating people and helping researchers with the Atkins foundation.

I don't think a lot of people out there realized that the company was sold. Atkids, yes, but the general public, probably not.

I like that Atkids. I'm an Atkid too!
