The scientific community, instead of using science as an information gathering exercise upon which to base assessments/extended investigation/changed practices, instead often stagnates/pontificates on results from outdated and outmoded methodology and concepts. I daresay in many instances this agenda is driven by research & development funding being provided by vested interests for pre-determined outcomes and/or to maintain the status pro. |
