Maggie, thanks for the article. I was diagnosed with PCOS a couple of years ago. My doctor recommended l/cing at that time but took me another year to finally do it. So glad I have as I feel 100 percent better and my lab values have drastically improved as well.

Maggie, Thanks for the info. My boss's daughter has PCOS, and has not been able to conceive. So sad, because she would be such a wonderful mom. And she has a lot of other health problems due to the PCOS. When the boss comes back to work, (she's off for a week), I'll show her the link so she can share. They know about lowcarb, but I don't think they follow it religiously, which I think we need to do for it to affect our health positively.

Yes, Nita. As I review the research, the eating plan chosen must be something akin to Atkins OWL. The person must be in ketosis to achieve the results. If it isn't adopted as a regular (religious?) lifestyle, one's bouncing in and out of ketosis and undoing the good that can result.
