Default Glycemic Load of Different Eating Plans ...

This study compared the glycemic load of various eating plans - 2 low carb (South Beach & Sugar Busters), 1 low fat/high carb (Ornish) and one moderate carb/moderate fat (EatRight).

The low carb diets, even when controlled for various conditions produced the lowest glycemic load and it was clearly due to the limits on carbohydrate consumption.
