| Now, in a pretty well designed longitudinal study, it appears that high intake of dietary fat is actually protective when it comes to skin cancer. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/533408 Interestingly, it is now thought that in prior studies which suggested that a low fat diet might be protective, the protection was probably a result of increased vegetable intake - with all the goodies vegetables bring. Sounds like good fat intake plus lots of veggies (anyone here eat like that? LOL!) has a protective effect when it comes to skin cancers.
