Manda, I saw this on My Yahoo health news. I hope he has "huge" success, that's for sure! Wouldn't it be great to see his success story as a tribute to the wonders of controlled carb eating?

I saw the story, too. I was pleased to read about his progress and I hope it continues.

I always wonder about the people who bring the food to bedridden obese people. We had a sad, sad case in this area a few years ago where a very obsese young girl died on the floor of her house. She'd been living on a sheet on the floor for several years, since she was too heavy for the bed. Authorities found the deceased girl lying in her own filth surround by empty boxes of junk food. Her mother, during prosecution, said she couldn't bear to hear the girl crying for food so kept giving her food. It was a heartbreaking story.

I just got around to checking out this story. Apparently this man has a condition that predisposes him to weight problems (along with his own bad chioces). here's a link to his website....some interesting info there.
